Good Morning LL
Checks ate good breffis, had his water at the sink, napped a little, ate more. Normal stuff.
I was concerned about shooting today, because the family is coming, and he hides under the bed, when the little grandkids are here. I wouldn't be able to test.
I think his one drop may have been on the short side, but not on purpose. I was having trouble with the syringes, already had to throw one away, because of bubble.
However, he his high this morning, and coming down very slowly.
His nadir is early, so I have plenty of time to make sure he is doing well.

Hi Barb, thanks for stopping by Maggie's condo earlier. Maggie hides under the bed, too, any time I have kids visiting. I have problems at times with the bubble thing and end up wasting some Lantus. It sounds like Checks is coming down slowly. Have a nice day and enjoy your time with the family and grandkids.

Poor Checks is scared of the grandkids? I guess its good quality cat time for him today, time for naps and such, even if its under the bed.

I did the same thing with they syringe this morning too, except it wasn't bubbles, the syringe just kinda fell apart on me.

So have a good day and enjoy the grandkids Barb!

I don't blame him!! Kids scare me too! I always want to hide under the bed when there are children here   Looks like he is giving you a bit of break. Enjoy the DGKs!!

Thanks for visiting, everyone. I didn't get a chance to visit anyone today.
Poor Checkers gave up trying to hide, the 3 year old, just crawled under the bed after him. He came out and visited a few times. He enjoyed the attenion of the 7 year old. Her dad, my DS, kept calling her a cat whisperer.
She has learned not to touch his hind end. She laughed heartily, when I proved it, by petting his thigh, and he tried to eat my hand. Kids laugh at the darndest things.

He didn't show stress, but stayed yellow most of the day, until PS, which was a couple hours after they left.

Hi Barb - wow - looks like checkers survived, I find it interesting that he stayed yellow, until they left, stress I think. I find that Mannie seems to be doing this too, no dips, just hovers in the high blue, low yellow area. well - an experiment and tracking for me... I am glad that Checkers tolerated the visit well today.

Have a great night - and be good checks!
