Zener is doing fine this morning. His appy is good. He ate most of his first breffis on his footstool and just finished a little bit at his picnic table. Yard patrol was thorough although poo patrol was too busy eating her breffis to notice any action. What does she get paid anyway?!? No ketone test for several days now since he is using the LB or the yard. Anne is back from her conference so maybe we will be able to catch a test. Yesterday is looking a whole lot like yesterday - I hope so.

Pip: thanks for the visit. We hope we see the same today.

Liz & I had a friend visit today from Minnesota, attending a conference about an hour away. She and a friend came and we all went out for a really nice brunch to a place we had never been to before, always fun to discover someplace new in our small town. We realized we hadn't been out for something social in months, rusty at the small talk, or really any talk other than "how much did he eat", "do we shave or reduce the full 0.25u", "shall we test him again in 30 minutes". :lol: We had a lovely visit and her friend Becky earned a Zener bump - Zener's version of the kitty rub on the leg.

Very nice recovery for Z Man!!!! I'm glad to hear he is getting stronger and stronger and the appy is good.

Perhaps I should send Tobey aka "Inspector Pinkerton" to help you all? He's very good at details ;-)

Hope your conference went well in the mad city, Anne. Yay...almost summer vaca!!! Maybe a trip to Tucson? ;-) ;-)

@Marje - he has BigMac as his appy angel, and has been eating much better since BigMac's food trays arrived for the auto feeder. :razz: We are relieved to know we aren't alone on our social skills getting rusty! :lol: All went well in "...the mad city" - love it, a perfect description! No plans at present for a trip to Tucson - the two of us don't get away together these days. ;-)
