Yet another crappy start for Walter. He briefly made it to the lagoon last night, but is bouncing again today. This is the 7th cycle on this dose and unless he somehow makes it back down today, he is getting a dosecrease tonight.

The bean is busy grading final papers. I also took the feral mama cat to get spayed yesterday. She is all around unhappy being inside and there was just no way I could keep her in my basement for an extended period of time. If she was pregnant, she wasn't very far along, so the vet went ahead and spayed and vaccinated her and I will release her tomorrow. She was tiny too - barely over 7 pounds.

And after getting a closer look at the grey kitten that I trapped, it turns out that she does indeed have an umbilical hernia. It's not exactly the "giant tumor" my neighbors were describing, but it certainly needs medical attention. Luckily, she tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is generally in decent health. She will have surgery on Monday. ...and now I just need a good name for her. Suggestions?

Walter you better head back to the lagoon there's a dosecrease threat out there.

I'm glad the kitten you caught is the on needing medical attention. I hope her surgery goes well. I take it you're going to keep her since you're naming her?

Maybe Walter is just a little exited about the kitten. Please come down today buddy...you don't want more juice. Hope the mama cat keeps coming around once released and the kitten does well with surgery. Your heart is just solid gold Christina.:bighug:

I guess Walter really took the dosecrease threat seriously! I just fed another LC snack and will have to leave for an appointment for two hours. Now let's surf safely, Walt! :nailbiting:

Oh such good names, Cinderella and Ashley! Love them both and can't top either of them.

Walter. good job coming down! Christina, you are wonderful to do what you do for the feral kitties in your neighborhood. :bighug:
