Cycle 1 on 2.75.
I don't know why he keeps needing more insulin? I hope this dose will bring him down gently!

I know we have it easy compared to so many and my heart goes out to those of you dealing with so much more...

Their pancreas wake up every now and then and accordingly their need for exogenous insulin goes down and up.
I wonder if his ear mites / tick issues are also causing his BGs to rise.

Sometimes you have to keep upping the dose systematically and one day they hit some invisible barrier and suddenly they start coming down the dosing ladder - often faster than they went up! :eek:

I also wonder if treating him with poison caused him to rise...
Haven't seen another tick, been checking Campa before she comes in and making DH stay outside (just kidding) and treated both cats. Also have not seen a flea. Yay!!!

We will just keep trying! And hoping!
He does seem to be feeling good...for which I am very grateful!

The effect of the treatment on the BGs should be short-lived. :-)

He has been in good numbers overall (below renal threshold) which is why he feels good - especially after all those higher numbers.

Bandit doesn't like me sleeping! :rolleyes:

Wow what a good day for Tiger! He felt good today, so nice.
The elusive daytime green came for a visit today:D

It took some kind of metal to shoot 131 with 2.75...if not steel itself!
It may be a wild night...going to nap now while I can!
 
Lovely cycle today! Get a +2? And feed higher carbs, if needed, to keep him surfing the greens.
IF he doesn't bounce!
 
Yes today was great! I will get a +2 in a half hour...shower for me first! Yes that is me you smell lol! I so hope he doesn't bounce too high!

Looks like you and Bandit have been busy girls! Hope you got some rest!
 
MORE GREEN! Wow! I am one happy mama! Going to give him a little LC to keep him from going too low...

Had a nice shower-smell better lol!:)
