At least KT's not wearin' PINK this morning...'course onset isn't for a couple of hours so he'll be wearin' that pink toad suit before he climbs on the surf board! I just hope the board is yellow or even blue!
I WON THE DERBY!!!!! My whole whopping $4 bet pushed 'I'll have Another' right across that finish line in FIRST PLACE! Right where I BET he would end! I made about $120! That buys me a NEW kitchen sink instead of using this old one!!! WOOHOO!!!!! I'm still just so excited!
As my subject says, we've been 'blessed' again. Yesterday about mid-afternoon, I looked out my window to see a small dog huddling against the side of the house trying to hide behind a little pot. I went out, she ran as fast as her little starving body could run. I also saw very heavy but extremely dry teats hanging so has she's just had pups somewhere within the last few days. About 4 hours later, DH saw her running in neighbor's yard trying to hide - by that time, I suspected she was a dump so decided I HAD to catch her. Luckily she headed onto their porch that's fenced on 3 sides - when she realized she was trapped, she just laid down trying to melt into the ground. I got hold of her, she immediately plastered herself against me and didn't move the whole walk back home. She was indeed starving and has a possible hip injury. She's also got something that looks like 3 splinters buried in her eye. I tried to work with it yesterday but couldn't get it out. I put eye ab's in it, we'll get it out Monday. She's got to be the UGLIEST little dog, looks like a VERY BAD BREEDING of a little English bulldog but is the SWEETEST little thing, wants to be held all the time. She was someone's inside love - WHY is she here instead??? Today she's moving much better after getting food yesterday and today. Her tongue is WAY too long for her mouth so hangs out all the time.
HUGS TO ALL TODAY!!!!
