Will she be okay with food at +3, +6 and +9? Same total amount of food but split into 3 meals between the 2 big meals?
With cats that produce their own insulin, BG comes down 3 hours after food. This is because the pancreas produce insulin in response to food. For cats on very small doses and in OTJ trials, we suggest feeding a snack at +9 in both cycles to see if that brings down the preshot values.
