After trip to emergency vet yesterday, the change was immediate. And 2day, he's almost back to feeling like himself. The wound is healing nicely and he is not in the extreme pain like he was. He's on pain meds and antibiotics. What that cat went through has torn thru my heart like a trappers clamp. Now, I'm preparing documentation for a lawsuit against the vet who caused this harm. Finally got some sleep last night

Oh Karen, what a horrible couple of days you have had. My cat Sug, had several ruptured anal glands and so has my dog. I hope civvie recovers ASAP and that you feeling more rested.
