I had to post this early, while I could still use Mr Greenie  ....who knows what +2 holds? It looks like, after weeks of flat yellows and virtually no movement despite increase after increase, we have finally hit a breakthrough. Trix headed to the lagoon at +4 last evening, and surfed it all night long. I'm sure we'll see some bouncing out of this, but for now, it's good to see something other than flat, flat, flat. It has been a LOOOOOOONG time since I've shot this low, but I also know from her history that chances are, she'll either stay flat here, or go up. Still, I'll be watching closely.

We had a very rough night with Frankie...after being calm for several months, she is suddenly back to rattling the bedroom door at night, with last night being exceptionally bad. I don't even know how many times the two of us got up to try and calm her. It's very difficult and complicated situation. And, today DH is swimming the equivalent of a 10K...we both really needed a good night's sleep last night. SO frustrating.

With that, BTB for a little bit for me. Unfortunately for DH, he's up for the duration now. I'm sure the adrenaline will help move him along.

BBL!

Amy

Go Trixie!!  :-D How about a nice little green surf this morning?

Oh no, with Frankie! Sending tons of vines for your DH and his 10K swim!

Mr Liver has stepped on to the scene...no surprise. But, I sure hope this trip to the lagoon wasn't a one-time fluke, and now we're going to start seeing some real action again.

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We have green!   let's just hope that +2 is food and back she will go to the lagoon. It is great to see you have found that breakthrough dose. Go Trixie!!!!

Yep, Mr L is not a happy camper at all. I can't say I'm surprised. Just like we hadn't seen green in quite some time, we also have not seen pink in a while. Oh well, action is action...maybe we'll start seeing more progress now.

Back to work for this bean!

Hi Amy! Beautiful start for Trix today, bummer on the bounce.

We used to have the same problem with Kismet banging on the door and crying to be let in. I used to let him sleep with me before I met DH, but he is a big cuddler and "stomper" (DH's terminology) and likes to get under the covers and do zoomies and feet attacks ohmygod_smile  DH banned him from the bedroom, and he would wail outside the door. At first, I would try to comfort him and calm him down, but like a little kid, that just reinforced the behavior, so we let him "cry out" and ignored him. After a week, he stopped. But he has been granted bedroom privileges again. He was only 5 months old when I met DH, and maturity has tempered him a lot. He still occasionally gets the under-cover zoomies, but is more or less civilized.

Best of luck to DH today! Hope you're both able to get some rest tonight.

Hopefully she won't hold on to this bounce for long.

Our situation with Scratchie Frankie is complicated. We have 5 kitties all together. It's a loooooong story, but the short version: Zen sleeps with us, and has serious territorial issues if we let anyone else in with us, so we can't let her in with us. If we lock him out, he wails and wails and wails - to the point where I'm afraid he'll make himself ill. If we ignore his wailing or Frankie's scratching, one of our civvies, Petey (who is normally very peace-loving), gets really upset and starts attacking them, so we can't ignore their wails or scratching. Heck, even without Petey, I think she'd literally tear the door down if we ignored her. We've tried all sorts of things...I could write novels....for now, we're kinda stuck between a rock an a hard place. Fortunatley, she goes through phases where she doesn't rattle the door, too...hopefully we'll see one of those again, VERY soon.

5 kitties? We only have 2 and their dynamics drive us crazy.

Sorry about the bounce ~ but there was green at the end of the tunnel!
She was saying, "See mama? I can still do it!"

I hope you guys are having a great day, Amy!

So glad to see Trix surfed in green last night....looks like you did hit her breakthrough dose. Hopefully she will get back to the "not bouncing" Trixie soon.

have you tried feliway? That's probably a stupid question because you been dealing with this a while and have probably thought of everything.

Actually, I have not tried feliway...the area is so open that I was thinking it would just diffuse way too much. But maybe I should give it a whirl...

I hope you're right about the dose!! My yellow patience pants were hanging on by a thread....

Hi Amy, looks like you may need to wear the PP a little longer. I'm sure she'll come down; a little bounce never hurt anyone, right?.
