Good Morning Everyone,
Lots of 5s in my subject line today: maybe I should play the lottery.
Late again this morning getting to the board. I spent 1 1/2 hours in the cellar (which is much worse owing to the heavy rain we had--about 2 1/2 inches and our immediate area got the most). It is 38 dark, dreary, damp degrees here this morning. Tomorrow we're supposed to see the sun, but not until we have rain and/or snow later today and tonight. 2 weeks ago we postponed our trip to NYC because of the flooding. Now we're supposed to leave on Sunday. I hope we can! I was sure the flooding would be over by now, but it is of historic proportions. Lake Champlain is so high that the railroad tracks near it are under water and Amtrak is bussing passengers from Albany to Montreal.

Rusty is doing great: he had another terrific green day yesterday and seems poised to have another one today (antijinx). Good test, shot, breakfast (2 sittings), a brushing with DH, and now he's chillaxing on his perch by the radiator watching the deer eat all of the little plants that are just coming up.

Hi Ella
I'm glad Rusty is a bright spot in your day.
I think of you, every time I hear a weather forecast. It just goes on and on. It's finally sunny here. I hope you really do see the sun tomorrow, and can get away Sunday. You really need the respite from rain and bailing.
I hope Edward's shoulder is feeling better. :smile:

I hope you get some relief from the rain and flooding soon and don't have to postpone your trip again. I hear the bucket brigade is getting organized again and are bringing lunch as well. I don't know why Tess left wearing a sombrero though! ;-)

So sorry to hear the basement is even worse. There's nothing quite like working your butt off to try to fix something and then see no improvement whatsoever!! :-x Hope things improve for your today. At least Rusty is being a good kitty with his numbers!!

better late than never - or so I am told. Sorry to be so behind on condos today. I so hope your weather has improved. I feel for you guys, and your community. Did you say snow tonight? are you kidding? omg! unreal.... I do hope too that you do not have to postpone your NY trip again. paws are crossed on that one too.

Is edward's shoulder continuing to improve?

nice report for Rusty 0 such great numbers, I hope he enjoyed his deer watching. Somehow that sounds fun.

I hear the kitties are very busy - I hope their bucket brigade was helpful. and that they are behaving themselves at zoe's cinco de mayo pool party. there were rumors too that the KTSS was off and running, to be followed by a midnite pool party at Gracie's. what I would give for their social life... well, maybe not. :lol:

Hi again,
Yep, the kitty bucket brigade really put in some work today, but unfortunately so did the rain (and even a little snow!). Rusty is off to Cinco de Mayo, making a stop in Toronto to bring some KTSS soup to Miss Emily and to pick up Teddy to go to the parties tonight.

I spent about 4 hours in the cellar today trying to keep up with the water and mud. I'm going to try kitty litter on the worst of the leaks tomorrow. Sunshine is forecast (believe it when I see it!)

Edward saw the chiropractor this afternoon and is extremely pleased with his skill and knowledge. I see good things coming from this.

Great day for Rusty, not so great for Bean. Sorry the cellar is still flooding. Sending FL sunshine and breezes your way. Hope it helps. Good to hear the chiropractor is helping Edward. Sending healing vines to him. As an aside, I FOUND MY WATCH. It was buried under Tuffy's fleece.
