He had the 7% carb food at every BG check until he got the HC twice @ +5 and +6. He was fed once more at +8 with LC. I've just had to keep feeding up until +6 at least, twice with HC. I don't want to stay up that long tonight if I don't have to. I know he may bounce too. Should I take that reduction back to 6.5 if I don't do the BCS? He hasn't handled that dose well in the past, but who knows?7% food is considered low carb, as is anything under 10%. You say you gave a lot of food today, was it LC or higher?
I personally wouldn't BCS, he didn't go under 70, but rather at 70. I rarely BCS'ed and then only if under 50 (really more like under 40). There is half a chance he could bounce the night away. But cats - who knows?![]()
His PMPS is 102, so he's not bounced. It's a tiny bit lower than +11.6.5 would be a setback. He didn't do great at 6.75 units either. Let's see if he's started bouncing by PMPS.
I am tired but I need to try to keep him low so I will monitor him. I went ahead with the 7 units. Thank you.Flat within meter variance. This is your call based on how tired you are. A BCS would be more likely to give you a quieter cycle tonight. He could also bounce later.
