Good afternoon LL! It's Monday once again, le sigh.

Eddie surprised me with a half way decent cycle last night with nadirs in the 120's despite starting the PM cycle with a bouncy stinky pinky pre-shot number. This AM looks to be a flat yellow bounce with a yucky pink +2.5 thrown in for good measure. Maybe a little NDW at work too, given our experiment with a dosecrease to 2.5u last night. I'm hopeful that he slides down a bit and is ready to show me what he can do on 2.5u starting with the PM cycle tonight. :-D DH got up this AM to do the TFS routine while mom bean slept for a couple more hours, but I vaguely remember DH carrying Eddie out of the bedroom under his arm this morning, while Eddie complained. Eddie apparently didn't want to get up this morning, either!

We are having vehicle difficulties today, which is always a good way to start a Monday. I have a dead headlight, which isn't a big deal, but DH's truck wouldn't start this AM. He was able to pull the battery (saying a little prayer that the problem is a dead battery and not something wor$$$e), took it to the auto parts place, and had it tested, and it was fine. He put the battery back into his truck, and it started right up. So, for now, it seems he has a working vehicle. DH has to go out of town overnight on Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon for a family funeral. I sure hope his truck doesn't decide to leave him stranded.

Vines and prayers for all the kitties and beans who need them today!

It looks like Eddie may be slowly inching his way down today. Paws are crossed for a swim in the lagoon this evening. Eddie - no deep ends, please!

but I vaguely remember DH carrying Eddie out of the bedroom under his arm this morning, while Eddie complained.

That's hilarious. It reminds me of my DH. I remember many mornings when DH was "rattin'" around in the bedroom and bathroom, looking for the cat. It wouldn't be long after that when I heard beeps, hisses, and cuss words coming from the kitchen.

Bummer on the truck. Hopefully it was just a loose battery connection. Could you use the vehicle problems to convince DH it's time to buy you a new car? ;-) I once convinced my DH that it was time for a new car after I had a tire blow out. I'm still proud of myself for that conniving! (Where's the little smilie that involves you patting yourself on the back!)

Have a great day, Jen!

Those flat yellows may mean action tonight. Hopefully Eddie will show you what he can do with the new dose soon. Sorry about the trouble with your DH's truck. I hope it doesn't give him any more problems. Sorry about the funeral. Sending prayers for your family.

So far, looks like Eddie's just chillin' out in the low yellows. I'm hopeful he will start to slide down a bit later in the cycle tonight. At least these flat yellow cycles are in the lower 200's. After sorting out the vehicle debacle this morning, DH went in to work only to find out that they were slow, so he came home early today. Since DH was home, Eddie got some naptimes in the sunshine on the deck this afternoon. We had beautiful sunny weather all day today. It's supposed to be rainy through the middle of the week, and then nice again for the coming weekend.

Hi Shelly! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm grateful that DH does the TFS in the ungodly early hours of the morning so I can get a couple more hours of sleep before dragging myself out of bed to put on some clothes to go to TBP. Usually Eddie is up and waiting for noms before morning shot, but once in a while, he'd rather stay in bed with mom. He has on occasion gotten his test and his shot while curled up snuggling with me in bed. :-D I remember your post about screaming "what's her number" at DH, and it still makes me chuckle! I have DH trained well, and he comes in to tell me Eddie's number before he leaves for work.

I think it must just have been a loose connection. He drove his truck around the rest of the afternoon without a problem. (anti-jinx). DH requires no convincing when it comes to wanting to buy new vehicles. He's using this as an excuse to start feeling me out if I will let him get a new vehicle. I'm the "no fun" bean that has final say on approving or denying all major purchases. ;-)

Carla, thank you for the visit and the condolences. Eddie's kind of the champion of flat yellow cycles, some of which just lead to another flat cycle, and some of which do lead to an active cycle. Ryan's (DH) uncle passed away this weekend from cancer. He was diagnosed at stage 4 just a few months ago. Ryan did get a chance to spend some time with him a couple months ago after his diagnosis. I'm glad Ryan will be able to attend the visitation and funeral and spend some time with his cousins (barring vehicle disasters).
