The weekend went well....and since there was a bit of dose hoping going on and after a little heart to heart with Dian, I have decided that the dose that I am going to start with is .75u and see where that takes us. Yesterday the old boy got a 1u at amps and ended up with a 44 at am +10 and surfed until pmps. I figured he would bounce from that 44, and yep, he did! Hoping that he will clear the bounce by tomorrow morning.

Spot is doing well, except for these higher numbers. His appy is good....and in the usual Spot manner, is nothing but a hoover at meal times. I have had to adjust his evening meals...giving him less at dinner and more at snack time (when we go to bed) because it seems like he sleeps better on a full tummy. He had a rough time after Ralphie passed and he would cry and cry for what seemed like hours, especially when you're trying to get to sleep, lol. He has calmed down a lot since my friend had a talk with Ralphie and asked him to visit Spot to let him know he was ok. He still cries, but nothing compared to what he was...just the occasional yelling after eating his nini snack for a couple of seconds and the occasional chat session he has with Ralphie in my mom's room (where Ralphie spent most of his time in his last days, if he wasn't on my lap). He is very happy that the weather has warmed up and he wants to spend most of his time outside on his chair...which we are glad to indulge him in. He is getting a dental on Sunday....and he'll be getting a blood test so I'll be able to see how his bun and creatin levels are.

Hope you all have a good evening! Scritches to all the kitties!!

That's so sad that he misses Ralphie. I'm glad he is getting a little better.

I am sending Perfect Dental Vines for Spot on Sunday. Sunday. Your vet works on Sunday? Wow.

I wish you luck with the dose.
