Yesterday's Condo

Willy is very grumpy today :sad: he very much did not want to sit still to have his BG checked before his breakfast. He let me know through a very angry tail and the "I'm going to bite you" meows. I probably would have gotten scratched if I rushed him, but I made sure to take my time and move calmly and firmly. I txted my DH to let him know that his furchild was not being cooperative, but Willy didn't seem to care a whole lot. :lol: I am hopeful that his numbers will improve but I am going to try to avoid poking him til around his nadir or dinner time.

Hey, guys!! So excited to see you set up here! With all the "excitement" from last week and the house hunting, I've been away from lantus land more than I'd like!!

Getting a chuckle right now... Willie has a series of rap star based nicknames, that mostly track the name of Sean "P.Diddy" Combs. First, he was Puff Fatty. Then P. Kitty. Then, just Kitty... but now, with a Willy on the boards, I'm thinking we may have to go with Will.i.e. :lol: :lol: :lol: Does go along with our song of the other week (inspired by Fergie's Fergalicious)....

Dub, to the I, to the LLIE mah name's Willie.

Willie was not fond of pokes either at first, though things were much easier given his lack of teeth and claws!!! Giving treats every time will definitely make a difference over time.

OMG Christie that is the most amazing stuff I have ever read in my entire life. Will.i.e. :lol: :lol: :lol: LOVE IT! You're my hero!

You sound just like me except I usually bestow nicknames on my other cat, Zell (DH named him after a Final Fantasy character). Zell bell, Zell phone/zellular phone, zellie bean, zealot, zealous, peanut butter and zellie, fatty jr. (he's developing a lot of Willy's bad habits). Willy is usually fatty, flathead, or something European like Villiam vonFluffyBottom. There were some clever ones but I can't think of them at the moment. The next time I write a pet anthem I will be sure to let you know so it can be properly appreciated (my DH just stares at me like "seriously... are you serious right now"). :lol:

We have had some stressful stuff going on with DH's family, totally unbelievable. Brief synopsis in Willy's condo from yesterday. We are seriously and truly blessed to have such a chill cat otherwise we really would have been in trouble. He isn't really phased by much. He doesn't even want to decompress after car rides, he just comes out and starts whining at us for food and tries to get everyone (whether they like cats or not) to pay him undivided attention and sneak him snacks. ohmygod_smile
