Good Friday Morning, Everyone. TGIF
Rusty has the first green AMPS in over a month. He may have gone low last night. I put out lots of bedtime food because I didn't think he had eaten enough yesterday. He finished it all (of course, he ate the FF T&G first, as we were going to bed). He has had good numbers for the last week or so. That's a good sign, because his numbers went up when he had the pancreatitis episode. However, I still am concerned about him because his energy has been on the low side (with the exception of a few bursts of energy) and his appetite for any food other than Fancy Feast T&G and freeze-dried chicken treats has been indifferent. I think he's working on a hairball and that might explain the doldrums. Also the crumby weather is a factor (another rainy day today after the violent thunderstorms last night that caused me to turn off my computer for 2 hours). Well, we are going to NYC on Sunday, so that will take care of the hairball (usually it is vomited out in the first 5 miles)!
We had a good night despite the thunderstorms, which returned with a vengeance after midnight. This morning Rusty was still asleep (or was chilling out) when the ducks sounded. We had a good test and shot and breakfast (which was half FF T&G and that was the half that he ate right away). He's on his bed by the radiator on this cool, damp and dreary day.
The event of the day will be a trip to the landfill.
The kitties will be partying all weekend: full Flower Moon on Sat/Sun. and Cinco de Mayo. and Mocha's house party. Wow!
Wishing you all a good start to the weekend and continuing to send healing vines to all of our sick kitties.
