Leo escaped outside, not for long, but unfortunately long enough to likely eat some grass. Grrr. Is this why the high AMPS? He did start crying earlier than usual for food. Plus, I notice none of the food was eaten from the AF. No wonder he was hungrier than usual this morning. And the stress of hunger increases BG.....

That's brings me to another question---Besides this morning, do healthy BG numbers tamp down the appetite? The last two days, Leo wasn't eating as heartily as when his BGs were higher, so is that to be expected? I guess I became accustomed to his voracious appetite, so to see it wane left me wondering.

Healthy bg numbers definitely make them not as ravenous. How’s his weight?

I haven’t noticed any correlation to eating grass and higher blood sugar. Templeton has access to grass 24/7. I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you, just one less thing to think about.
Leo is really doing so well.
