Happy Caturday, LL!

Well, I think we've figured out the cause for the higher numbers. Around 2 am last night, the poor little guy had an asthma attack. It was an impressive one, too. About 11-12 coughs before I got to him with his rescue inhaler which stopped it immediately. His BGs are always a little elevated when he is a little asthmatic, which may have been the cause for the higher numbers we've seen the last few days. The strange thing is that until he had the attack, he was virtually asymptomatic. No wheezing or little coughs or anything. I'm actually surprised that he went so long without an attack, especially with all the stress of moving, and the allergens associated with painting, dusting, and cleaning chemicals.

Today he is doing just fine. Hopefully that will be it for the asthma and he will come down a bit now (paws crossed!) I think our vial is still good, as he does seem to be responding to it, but I will keep a close eye on it anyway.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Well drat on that ole asthma attack! I hope things settle down for him now. It has been CRAZY for you these past few weeks. I'm sure you will be calmer too. Happy Caturday!

Hi, Courtney, I'm sorry to hear about Kizzy's asthma rearing it's ugly head last night.
But he almost went a WHOLE MONTH without an attack! Perhaps they'll be further and further apart...

I hope you guys are getting settled into your new home nicely.

Enjoy your day!
