well he started getting me up at 3:30 this morning which I was awake anyway I had a migraine all day yesterday from his first green and since I have at least 3 a week I have to ration my 9 immitrex pills that I can only get once a month hate insurance anyway so still have this darn migraine its a little better he is feeling great ate all his breffis already running about the bedroom acting like a kitten not sure whats going on with this boy guess he is starting to feel a lot better which puts a BIG smile on Mama Beans face :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I'm sorry to hear about your headache, but I'm glad to hear do lou is acting more like a kitten these days. I hope it continues for you guys! Those first few greens can certainly be scary, but when you start getting them on a regular basis, they are beautiful! Have a great day guys.

I hope your headache gets better, I'm always exhausted the next day or two after @-) I just sort of feel dazed, but I don't have meds for them. I just suffer through because mine are cycle related for the most part, I call it my "signal" headache because when I get it I know I should go check my "supplies" and start taking my Aleve to prevent the cramps that will be showing up within hours :-| Once the period starts the headache usually goes away. I can't imagine having several of them a week. Hopefully you can rest a bit today.

Do Lou is looking good =) I'm not sure I could be so happy about a 3am playful kitty though ;) I'd be begging him to be a 7am playful kitty instead :lol: Either that or I'd start getting up to test him when he wakes me up ;-)

Tugg likes his sleep too much, he won't get me up unless he's really starving and he never gets playful in the middle of the night. The others will wake me for food though. Echo will come screaming down the hallway if he CAN'T FIND THE FOODSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OMG! Tux will come scream right in my ear. He knows how to wake the mamabean up in a hurry! To prevent that I have started feeding them again before bed. It buys me till almost 7 most mornings ;)

Do Lou has always done this but he stopped when he got sick so its nice when he does it but it does keep me up. As for my migraines I have had them all my life but since 2002 they have ruled my life :sad: had them every day for almost 1 yr had to take 7 months off my job that year yes that was quite a year really ran my butt into the ground having 2-3 a week is still too many but they are under better control then they were and I just live with pain most of the time and try not to dwell on it you know. I need to post his +3

Well he was not in the mood to be tested at all for the +3 took me 3 strips and that never ever happens he just would not be still kept losing our drop of blood had to stick again yep you get the picture :roll: +3 293

Hi Lisa, I can sympathize with the migranes. They run in my family. I call them my "3-day headaches"! Mine are not debilitating, but one of my nieces gets them so bad that she has to go to the ER! In any event, mine are much less frequent since I've gotten older!!! By the way, if you're cutting out coffee, that could contribute to your headaches. I tried a few times to quit coffee drinking and always got monster headaches. So now I just enjoy my coffee (they now say that caffeine is good for you!!)
Do Lou's greens were exciting yesterday. Now that he's seen green, he'll want to see it more and more often (and so will you!). It's great that he's acting again the way he used to before FD. Keep up the good work! Feel better!

AH! The downside of friskiness. Tess gets that way in the morning when she is impatient for first breffis. But it's worth it to have them playful and hungry.

D and Shadow gave me a great tip once. Scrape the blood drop off the ear with your fingernail, then test the blood. Gives you a little extra time.
Happy day 5 off the big M and hope your migraine goes away soon.

I hope Do Lou comes back to the blues soon. You had a great cycle yesterday. I also take imitrex for my migraines and I'm grateful that it works so well. See if you can find some Morinda or Noni supplements. When I take Morinda regularly, my migraines are much less frequent.

Come on down, Do Lou! Get ready to party tonight! Of course everyone will be happy to see you no matter what color you're wearing, but I think your mama would love to put you in something other than yellow (but not pink or red).

Hi Lisa and Do Lou, so sorry to hear about your headaches Lisa. My Mom gets them really bad and knock on wood I am lucky I didn't inherit them!!! Hope Do Lou comes down for you, probably a bounce from the green. Hope you have a good day!!
 
Sorry have not been on much today saw my pain dr and of course talked about being off morph I am day 5 and I think the worst is behind me I feel much better today then yesterday , I had so much back and neck pain yesterday and poof its gone today weird.

Thanks D I feel so happy to have made it to day 5 and I am feeling less withdrawal now :mrgreen:
