Yesterday's Condo

Willie is in the zone. Breffis eaten, he's now sitting in the hall because he knows the bean isn't headed btb this morning! We're shooting an hour later than normal right now, and both of us are still waking up at the old time! Nothing like 20 minutes of headbutts to get you going in the morning! Not even a meow to go with it. "Are you awake now? What about now? Now? You think maybe you could feed me? Now? NOW???"

Slight chance I'll still be closing on the new house tomorrow, but it's looking increasingly like it will be Monday. Actually got quite a bit of packing done this weekend. Need to stop by Costco tonight for a new pen for Willie and more hangers for me. Though, his pen is surprisingly doing well given that we are on day 31 of a pen kept at room temp.

Looks like Willie is doing fine today! Closing on a house can be so frustrating when the day keeps changing!!! Good luck with the move, very exciting!!

Good morning Christie & Willie!! That made me laugh so hard. :lol: :lol: I know the headbutts all too well.

Hope you get to close tomorrow! Either way, you will be there sooner than later. Packing is one of my least favorite activities. However, in your case, it will be sooo worth it!

Fingers and paws crossed for the closing tomorrow. There are always so many last minute details to take care of. Willie looks like he's ready to get the move on too! :-D :mrgreen: :cool:
 
While my down payment loan is being processed today, it looks like we will be closing Monday. The sellers are doing the repairs this week anyway, which includes spot treatment for termites and I don't really want to be in the house for that! I have a ton of vacation time that needs to be used this year anyway, and I can't use much around the holidays because I'm near the bottom of the senority pecking order. I will take off closing day next week, then probably do a four day weekend to get small stuff moved in and put away. Then one day the following week for the movers and the big stuff (and Willie! don't want to freak him out leaving him alone in an empty apartment!). We'll work a trip to the vet in there as well for a rabies vaccine and flea meds. Both vets are much closer to the new house, so we'll wait until we're over there!

EXCITING!!! Wow - it is all coming together. YAY a thousand times over. I'm with Devon - pics when all is put together... :-D :cool:

Willie sure is looking good. love that AMPS. Impressive!
