It's Friday, Friday! Gotta get down on Friday!

WCR: All Ps in place. She's snuggled up next to me right now. Her appy is ok. There's something about breffis that she's just not been diggin' lately. I've had to chase her around the living room and hold her bowl and sweet talk her to get her to eat her breffis. Once I put down her snack at +2-+3, she's fine. :roll: Her vetty appointment is at +9 today. Listen for her...it's the growl/scream/hiss heard round the world! ohmygod_smile

WHR: Doing ok today. Headed up to school shortly so that I can get a few more things done and get my audition recorded and emailed off.

Nice blue! Maybe Shasta doesn't want you to go to school today? What is the audition for? I'm sure the vet will be delighted to see Shasta today. :roll: I'll have Zener send her some calming vines.

I hope everything went well at the vet today. Sometimes Furball is like that at breakfast. I think it's just being a cat.

Hi Liz & Melissa,

Not sure why she was giving me such a lovely number this morning...maybe she knew what was coming up this afternoon. :? Liz, the audition was for the group that's I've been singing with for a few years now...more a re-audition; but I hate auditions, nonetheless.

Apparently, Shasta had on her anti-good vetty vines pants today. She was her good ole wretched self. Before we even started the anal sac expression, I just put my hand on her head/neck which normally just elicits a growl and a hiss; but this time she went ballistic. :roll: I went ahead and gripped the scruff, vet tech put the towel on and the vet went to work. As usual, the office people chuckled when we came out of the examination room. Yes, I know...my cat would be the purrfect horror film cat. :YMSIGH: :lol: To make matters worse, when we got home, I put her in the sink to rinse off the urine because she peed in her carrier when we first got to the vet. :YMSIGH: Poor little snotty kitty. But darn if I don't love every bit of her.

Thank you for the well wishes. She's resting on her bed right now and eyeballing me as I write this post. Praying for the people in OK and praying for Jack & Jane & Karre. :cry:

Good evening Carla,

Yeah, it's weird. I'm wondering if she's decided that she doesn't like all the meds that are added to her breffis. For a while, it didn't seem to bother her. Now, I'm guessing it may bother her. I'll add a little squash tomorrow morning and see if that makes it more appealing. Hope you and Furball had a nice day. Sleep well.
