Well I'm very thankful and feel very blessed that:
1) Max seems to handle going low well (because I'm sure he went low on Fri when Bean wasn't home)
2) He is responding to this protocol beyond anything I hoped for, I was aiming for regulation (not even tight regulation) and anti jinx anti jinx, he looks like he might make it all the way (anti jinx)
3) That any major dramas have so far happened when I was home to manage them
4) That he has become a pleasure to test (I wanted to know what they had used to drug the cat in the "how to" video  a while ago...)

...and with all of that Mr. Marvelous earned himself a doscrease this weekend. He is on 0.25 units now....0.25....I have to pinch myself!!!

and he was totally intolerable the whole weekend long, ambushing and swatting his sister, playing with his brothers tail, racing up and down the staircase, keeping mom a dad awake skipping over their pillows purring, wanting to play at 3am....!! He is just so l of energy, I don't know what to do with him. Of course, now the old picky eater Max is back too. Put down some FF Gourmet Seafood which he used to love, and he just walked away..stress stress, opened up a can of Savoury Salmon and he wolfed it down...It's bad enough it's hard to find LC FF here, now I have to look for the flavours that Mr. Sunshine has decided he'll consider eating.... Anyway, hoping for a blue and green week for all of you, and I hope Max keeps doing as well as he has...

Hey good job super Max!!! Way to keep up the beans

I had to keep my beans on their toes today too :-D I was feeling so good, while watching birdie tv on the balcony I decided I would play with them bcatrun_gif so I jumped up on the rail
and got one! And this is what my mama bean looked liked :o So I let the little birdie go :? So then I decided to get my brother  I WWF'd him to the ground, bit his tail and he ran
off dancing_cat dancing_cat it was a good day...

Have a great day Max. Oh...my name is really Roxy, but my bean calls me doodles >"<
Meow at ya later

heidi and doodles

Awesome job bean...I had some great numbers on Sat until I freaked out and gave her some kitty krack  she had never had low numbers before...I'm new to this game and its a nail biter for sure nailbite_smile

Great WCR I am so glad that Max is doing so well! I know just how you feel. Glad hes back to causing trouble, but I don't know what his sister has to say about that.

Keep up the good work. Good luck with the dosecrease.

OT My DH will be coming to Africa this summer. He is going to Kenya with an organization that starts schools. He'll be gone for 6-7 weeks.

So glad to see how well Max is doing.
This is great news and the fact that he is so happy and playful, just the best from when we
first met.

Max is doing beautifully. What a wonderful WCR (whole cat report). Max sounds like he's feeling great. Congrats on the dose reduction!!

Just a suggestion... If you can get at minimum a before bed test every night it will help you to know what's happening in the PM cycle. Many cats have lower numbers at night plus, without PM tests, you are missing half of your data. Getting tests in, especially now that Max is doing so well, is important since you don't want to miss a reduction (or have another "heart attack" when you test and find a low number!!).
