She seemed eager for breakfast, but walked away after eating 1 Tbsp or less. I followed her, and she did eventually finish over 2 Tbsp of breakfast. That's our goal for first breakfast. I know she'll likely eat more in an hour or 2.
She tried to duck away when I sat on the floor and showed her the testing kit, but as soon as I set her on my lap, she was purring away. She cried a little when I gave the shot - not sure if it's the harpoon needle, the Lantus, me pinching a fold of skin or just being held without petting. She still purred though.
She seems in a good mood. She darted around a little and then went up her ramp and hopped onto her box on her porch to lie near her window and survey her kingdom. Notice all items are prefixed by "her". That's not accidental.
Shhh... I don't think she realizes it yet, but tomorrow is her birthday! 18 years old!!!!
