Good Morning Everyone

Gonna save a strip and not test +1. This'll be the time he dives :roll:
What a goofy way to spend a morning, arranging little step 'things' in and in front of tub. Grandkids' sink stool came in handy.
No more getting up to bathroom sink, and jumping off. I have to harden my heart, and ignore the yelling and pleading for his stairs back, since I put them in the kitchen.

He went thru all his paces, to get me up, this morning. He rattles the cord on the phone next to my bed. Yes, it's old :lol:
He gets on my dresser, and rattles all the junk in my "jewelry" box, all the time watching me in the mirror.
Of course, the head/hair, gets walked on.

Why do I love that guy, from here to the sun, and back??????

Aww....you love him because he's Checkers!!!

No diving Checks...that sounds like a fair trade off for no early ear pokie!!

I love Checkers - what a cat! The morning routine is way too cute, even though at times it must drive you crazy. I like the head walking part - that is my Elsa - always messing with my hair. :? :lol:

I can see him pleading for his stairs... but better safe than not Checkers. All out of love for you my man. I hope he's doing well Barb.

Nice amps for you Checkers. Could you maybe talk to Mannie about joining you?

Nice numbers again Checkers! seems like Rupert might join you briefly.. I'm expecting him to be the one rocketing up the stairs past you at some point today unless you can convince him to stay in that green/blue zone! Rupie has his morning routine too. he meows exactly like 'Simons Cat', those short fairly quiet but very demanding meows. He came upstairs this morning and was on the landing outside our bedroom making those chirpy meows at about 5:30am! Bumley, his older sister is the one that comes up on the bed and swats DH on the nose or chin until he pays attention, if he doesn't she likes to grab his ear and try and pull him out of bed!!! She's annoyed at the moment because usually I test and shoot Rupert at 6am and then head back to bed for an hour and she and I have our 'up close' cuddle (she puts her paws on my hands and her nose right up against my face and won't let me out of bed until 7!).. but this morning I"m staying up to test and try and catch Rupert before he bounces. Course, typical.. yesterday was the day my boss was giving me 'mild' grief about some of the hours I've been keeping lately.. and sure enough today Rupie makes it so I may have to bail on work. Still... she can't dictate if I have a cold or anything (cough cough) now can she?! (good to be a govt. employee sometimes, although lately I've really been rethinking the whole thing anyway!).

Barb, I replied about that ladder chair last night. I found one at a place called Furniture Row for only $58 and it is solid hardwood!

It isn't available online , but they have a store in Syracuse, NY. Are you anywhere near there? Unfortunately, their website seems to be down this morning. :sad:

Thank you Ann. I saw that one last night too. I like that oak one you showed first, but I need a new recliner right now, so Checks got his old steps moved from the bathroom to the kitchen.
Clancy thinks that's great.....now he can get up on the counter too. ohmygod_smile
Checkers was sitting on the steps next to me, watching me chop chicken for his lunch, then got on the counter to eat it.
The steps are there to get down kids, not up!

Did these cats not read the rule book....*no cats allowed on the kitchen counter*?

Oh! I love these ladder chair!
I bought from iKea those small ladder (with 2 steps) for my kitties to mount on the bed. Sturdy & cheap. I'll take a pic tomorrow for you to see. I also use those plastic box containers ( also good for storeage for their stuff) as a stepping for them too.

I know this sounds silly, but I kind of enjoyed having Checkers sit by me, as I prepared his food. (dumped out of can :lol: )
 
That's such a sweet picture....Checkers watching intently to make sure you "prepare" his food properly!!!
