She went down to green ysterday evening, I hope she will today as well.
If there is arthritis, you could ask your vet for Adequan shots. They are given subq and you can give them at home.
I will ask her. I gave her 3 ml of Gabapentin again this morning, maybe going down was a bad idea. She walks normally today and jumped on my bed. The vet said there was arthritis but in her opinion not enough to explain the pain, but she did not go further. Maybe there is a neurological part, I guess if the nerves were damaged by the diabetes it will take some time to heal.
 
Its a good idea to start Adequan at early stages of arthritis. It is safe and has no side effects.

Gabapentin helps cat with nerve pain. ("Although nobody actually knows why, it has also been found to help with pain, particularly neuropathic (nerve-related) pain or arthritic pain.")
 
Yes, she told me that. I will email her about the Adequan. And try to get an acupuncture appointment, although I'm not sure how well she would accept that :nailbiting: I mean Bella, not my vet.
