Woohoo! Zener has been blue for almost the past 24 hrs. :-D His appy was ok this morning. He got a little tummy massage which seemed to help. Yard patrol was interrupted by his shot but was resumed at +1. While pulling a few weeds, Detective Poo observed some covering behavior, probably a pee, but no pooing. That promotion isn't getting any closer. :lol: :lol:

As requested, here is the picture of Zener and his cabana. It's hard to see him in the shadow.

Thinking of ailing kitties, droolers and beans and beans who are grieving. It's hard to let them go. I'm really glad to see Monnie is doing better and Roni's DA is making a good recovery. And today is Turnup's birthday! Happy Wednesday LL!

ETA: OT: splinter report. I thought there was still a tiny piece left from my minor surgery yesterday but I couldn't see anything this morning. Yay!

Nice cabana! It must be such a relief for a black kitty in that sun! :-D :-D :-D on the blue, now if we can just get Mannie to cooperate, there may be another impromptu performance of The Group at The Porches!

Hi guys .. yahoooo for blue!!!! I bet that cabana really helps zener cool down in the heat .. as I look over at my girls draped across the AC vents :lol: Have a great day guys!

Zener sure is one lucky kitty! :-D I agree with Melissa, if I had to come back as a kitty I'd definitely want to be your kitty! I always wondered what the Z man walked like with his CH and he gets around pretty darned good, looks like he uses his tail to help his balance, seeing his video put a smile on my face. :-D

It's been a blue day with a touch of green. And it's a warm, still evening perfect for yard patrol. Zener is outside surveying his domain. Poo patrol is at the ready. :cool:

@Ann & Tess - the cabana makes such a difference in temperature. We still don't quite understand why in the hottest part of the year, he likes to nap in the hottest part of the yard. :roll:

@Melissa & Mr T - we think that everyone here is just as crazy over their kitters as we are. :-D What lucky kitties to have LL beans and vice versa! :razz:

@Devon - we don't have AC here at 7000 feet but on a warm day, our kitties will be snoozing in the shade or indoors in a cool corner. Hope your girls had good naps on the vents. :-D

@Tracy - Zener has an amazing swagger! The base of his tail is very thick and muscular and helps him balance so much. cat_pet_icon

We had to work pretty hard today to get Zener to eat his fuds. Not one of his better eating days. We are on an every other day dose of cerenia tablet (1mg) and this was the day for that. Later this afternoon and this evening, his appy had picked back up. Whew... After a lovely green nadir in the morning cycle, he surfed low blues right into PMPS, and his PMPS tonight is very similar to his PMPS yesterday. Amazing! ohmygod_smile

@Roni - Zener is flattered by Moonie thinking he is sweet. And he is sweet, the sweetest kitty ever. cat_pet_icon He makes such good use of his tail and has a very strong chest and front shoulders to pull himself up on things. He is amazing.
