Happy Memorial Day!! Simon is starting off with a decent number and has been seeing a few more green numbers in the last few days. He is doing well and is eating well. My last post said he is eating more slowly and looks like he is having a hard time chewing. Well, I think that was because he just didn't like the flavor of the food I gave him. When I opened another can later (a different variety), he scarfed it down without a problem. I never knew him to be a picky eater, but just when you think you know something about your cat, they change it up on you!

Simon's girlfriend Rosie came to visit but also another neightbor cat (I call him Mini-Me) that looks like Simon was outside too. When I opened the door, Rosie rushed into the house because she wanted to be fed but was worried Mini-Me would get her food. Simon was thrilled to be able to sit and watch Rosie eat in the kitchen, especially since he got a little extra food to eat alongside Rosie. True love! have a great day!

Awwww your condo started my day off with a smile. Do you know who owns Rosie and Mini-Me?

Nice to see Simon in his old beautiful numbers.

Karrie, Rosie is my next door neighbor's cat although everyone in my neighborhood thinks rosie is mine since she is always hanging out by my house. I know her owners do love her but I don't like that they let her roam around all the time. Mini-Me is also owned by someone in the neighborhood but he also is allowed to roam around.

Morning Georgia - Simon and Rosie made my day, too, and also Mini-Me. So glad to hear that Simon is eating again, and it was just the food he didn't like! We also have a roaming kitty named "Ash", and he comes to visit my next door neighbor. We both worry about him, as he lives on another street but found his way over to our apartments. All he wants is some cuddles and treats. Have a wonderful day!

Nice AMPS! I agree with you about letting the cats roam. There's a neighborhood cat that terrorizes Abby from outside. I've had to replace 3 different screens 5 times from the devil tearing them up trying to get to her. He'll scratch at her and then proceed to lay underneath my chaise lounge on the patio and relax...all while Abby's huffing and puffing from behind the glass door. At least Simon likes the other cats!

Well, Simon seems to be going up instead of down today. Maybe we'll see some lower numbers this evening.

Ann, love that you have a neighbor cat that visits...don't you just want to adopt another? If I had my choice, my house would be full of unwanted stray kitties!

Kristen, sorry that your neighbor kitty is such a terror to dear Abby and to your screen!

awwww....how sweet....Simon has a girlfriend! That is too cute....I hate when people let their cats roam the neighborhood - I am always worried something is going to get them. I would take them all in, if I could. I hope Simon decides to go the other way for his PM cycle.... ;-)
