A bit higher than usual after his low of 61 last night so not surprised. Guess his body is making more sugar in response?
 
And of course, a big squirm from Simon caused a fur shot...sheesh, it figures. DH will come home and get a +6 on him but it will likely be high. :-x
 
Gave Simon his shot an hour early due to the fur shot and the way he kept going to the spot where I give it to him! It was as though he was ASKING me to help him feel better by giving it to him. Anyway, his reading at +5 and at +11 were similar? Weird but the way he seems to be. Has happened before the day he was 417 early and then down in the 300s at shot time. Will not give him his AM shot until the normal hour though.
 
Just like they learn to associate treats with ear pokies they also associate shots with feeling better.

They are such amazing and smart beings
 
He is not coming down very much tonight :YMSIGH: He was at 241 at +2 which was great, but now at +4 he was only down to 234? What is up with that? Is it cause he was high for most of the day due to the fur shot this morning? I am baffled. He should be in the 100's at the highest and usually at this time, he is in the green numbers as he is near nadir. No high carb snacks so not sure what to think. :sad:
 
It might be due to the fur shot & shooting early. The slight bit off schedule could cause his numbers to be crazy. Once you get back onto your normal schedule you probably see some familiar numbers.

If I am 30 minutes late or more with Baxter his numbers are high & don't come down much. He is the perfect example of needing consistency in his shot times.
