Yesterday, playful kitty, today the beans went out to play.

5/29 Recap:
AMPS 139 +7 189 +10 163
PMPS 159 +3 201 +9 127

Neko was VERY pleased to have first course of breakfast at PM+9 this morning. Normally all she gets is a test treat and we are out the door. But I loaded up Otto(feeder) and left her to the sunshine until we got home around +16. DH did the shot at +18 and we'll resume course tomorrow morning, another +18. The thing I really like about this schedule is that I'll be able to get a test around nadir before bed, then sleep blissfully until morning. That is, unless Neko has decided she likes +9 breffs. :p Neko's buprenorphine schedule was also disrupted so I hope I got it right. She seems fine so far. She came out of the solarium to greet me when I got home from a meeting, then went back as soon as she had her afternoon snack. Typical cat, all about food. :cat:

OT: The beans are exhausted. Today we did a really long row to Granite Falls, starting at 5:30AM. I "only" did about 17 km, DH about 24. We swapped people in and out of boats so people got a break in the coach boat. The trip was fantastic. We had a small picnic snack at the far side, which is a water access only campground at the base of the falls at the end of the arm. The water got a little choppy on the way back. Some idiot camping illegally started a bush fire about half the way back, and every boat in the area decided to lookie loo over there and cause wakes. No one bothered calling the wild fire reporting line until our coach did as we went by. I've included a couple of pics, one of the three quads in the water, and one of them on slings at our picnic.

What a beautiful area. No wonder you enjoy your rows so much. I'm not at all surprised you're exhausted.

Neko, be a good girl so the beans can rest up after their adventure today, okay?

Wow on those pics! Looks like a fantastic spot. You guys did great on those distances. I hope the idiot's campfire got put out. Some people sure are dense!

I'll be interested in seeing how Neko does on the 18-hour schedule. I've tried it, but decided it didn't work as well as I thought it would. However, it's great to have it as an option. Have a fine evening and enjoy the rest of the weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Those photos are just beautiful. What a magical place to be on the water! I am green with envy!
You must be exhausted after that row though.
I am sure Neko and Theo were pleased to see you return.
You will sleep well tonight

Wow! How beautiful. Serene, save for big-time bozo illegally camping and burning. Thanks for the pictures.

Sleep well tonight.

Thanks for visiting all - this bean fell asleep on the sofa with a cat on the lap. I'm done. Happy enough to see blue on this cycle.

I'm glad things worked out for your row. I hope the 18 hour shots work out for Neko and she didn't wake you up early for the +9 fuds.

IMHO, British Columbia is the most beautiful province in Canada. Such biodiversity! Mountains, ocean, rain forests, fruit orchards, mild weather, rugged northern region, fabulous hiking trails (West Coast Trail is amongst the best hikes in the world)...
And of course, the fabulous Neko :cat:
