Yesterday was...... uhhhhhh...... hmmmmmm...... What to say on yesterday. :shock: It was F L A T day: at last for the morning cycle. The evening one was a journey through the stratosphere. :YMSIGH: I had really hoped that with the flat yellows of the morning cycle that we would have an active nice PM one. It seems that Mannie didn't get the memo that says flat yellows mean down, not up. :shock: :lol: Well, we are back at it today, hoping for good things. Right Mannie? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We survived the Battle of the Mats yesterday. :lol: :lol: :lol: Final tally? Bean: 6, Mannie 5, Mats 458247815. or so it seemed. I'd remove one, and find 2 more. sheshhhh! I called it a draw, promised him the night off yesterday, and a dematting free day today. I was beginning to see that look from him - ya know: the laid back ears, the squinty eyes, the low rumble from the chest - so I thought: hmmmmm.... best give it a rest. so I did. Mannie's solution for the whole ordeal? Nanners! So off he went, to seek solace in the nanner pile. They were all hugged and rolled on and arranged and chewed and cuddled. It was also vacuum day yesterday. I elected to leave him and the pile alone. :lol: :lol: Today, as always, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today through Friday. YAY! more Nicholas. :-D :-D :cool: We will swim today, and hope for good weather so we can go to a park, a beach, whatever looks good. I know I won't be able to visit condos while he is here, but do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rusty is back at Camp Stu!!!! SWEET! We get to go swimming and paddling and stuff. I am so excited. I gots the bus all packed an ready to roll. I think Tess is bringing some of her patented catmint crisps (uhhhhh.... right Tess?), and I gots the niptinis and bring whatever else you want! WOO HOO! Back to camp Stu. I lubs it there..... ~~ Mannie

Good job on the matts. At least you scored something. Coming from a matt infested household, any win is still a win! Now lets see your arms and see how many battle wounds you have. :lol: I wear tube socks when I try to demat Tarragon and it still doesn't help.

Morning Melissa - yes, there are worse things than flat. :-D The other day comes to mind.... :? I hope so, on the break. I'ds take just a nice low blue surf. THX on the matts - such a battle with him, and yes there are a few battle wounds. :lol: :lol: I tried the socks once too - and you're right, doesn't help much: a claw on a mission knows no boundaries. :lol: :lol: And thanks - today will be good.

Hey Mannie! My bean will never know. She's at tbp and we'll just say it was that teenage kid next door. I can't wait to see if the bus will do it!

Hi Michelle. Glad you got out of the battle of the mats, alive. Yeah, I could borrow that arm armour, for sure. I never did get around to trimming/shaving, Clancy.

While you're out having a great time with DGS lucky Mannie will be living it up with the gang at Camp Stu. WooHoo! :-D

Morning Michelle and thanks on the ~O) ~O) White Peppermint Mocha. Glad you survived the Battle of the Mats. Mags says you can come over and brush her any time, as she has short hair and loves it, except when I get too close to her rear end part! I can just see Mannie with the squinty eyes with him hoping the Bean will give it a rest already. I hope Mannie will give you and DGS a nice safe surf today, as he usually does wanting you both to have a great day. That could be coming down to some nice blues, right Mannie! Have a wonderful time with DGS ttoday swimming and the park, what fun!

Mannie, I can't wait for Camp Stu at Rusty's. And oh boy, I love those wheelies; I'll hold on tight to Tarragon! I will bring my salmon burgers laced with catnip for everyone. I'll be waitin at the curb; thanks, Mags

OK Mannie lets try it again, nice even yellow while the big and tiny beans swim and hike, then a nice slow slide to the blues and greens. Think of it as a lazy inner tube drift down the creek, rather than shooting the rapid in a kayak! ;-)

Congratulations on the Battle of the Mats yesterday, wisdom is the greater part of valor though. Good choice not to vacuum the nanners! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi guys .. well theres that color we love so much on mannie! I think you are going to have to start doing some arm curls with nicholas .. get him some upper body strength then have him pull out the mats :lol: have a great day guys!

And we are still BLUE! WOOT! and way to go Mannie. :-D :-D :-D I love this cat - he gave me travelin' numbers while Nicholas was here, came down to a nice mid to lower blue, so far, for tonight. Thank you Mannie for the permission slip today, and for being such a good kitty!

AND!! The Blue Mannie Group is performing LIVE at camp Stu!!

Nicholas and I had a superb day today - Swimming was very good today. He's getting to be good at the slides, and has them "mastered" Its is such fun to watch him laugh and smile while we are there. All really great. He's getting great about being under water too - face first these days. :-D :cool: :cool: We went to the Skykomish River near Gold Bar after that for some serious river exploration and rock throwing. He's getting good! He can toss them a couple of feet now. WOO HOO! Of course we went through several pairs of socks as he had to go river wading. :lol: :lol: I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for checking up on Mannie while I was gone. He seems to have had a great day - I love to come home to a 138 at a point past nadir. Maybe he went green? maybe? I expect not, and am more than pleased with that 138. :cool: :cool: :cool: :razz: :razz:

Hi Barb - yes I survived the battle. what an ordeal, but I was gentle and took my time on the rear end - it really does bother him done there. I'll lend you my armor.... :lol: :lol: From what I her that is exactly what Mannie did while DGS and I were out having fun - He adn the gang were rather playful at camp Stu. I hear that Checkers is quite the paddler... :-D

Hi Ann, and Maggie - Anytime on the ~O) :-D :-D Tell Maggie I will be right over :lol: - I love a kitty that loves to be brushed.
