Good morning World! Yesterday's BEAUTIFUL run!

AMPS 222

I actually got 3 tests in last night....in the DARK. The bad storms began about 10pm, we lost power, we lost limbs, we lost part of our privacy fence, neighbor lost big tree, it was a NASTY NASTY night. But it DIDN'T get my garden!! After yesterday's beautiful (almost TOO LOW) run, I chickened out of a full 2.5u dose and shorted it to a fat 2.0, probably about 2.25. His lowest number last night was 155 at +6 but I know stress added to any numbers last night. That wind was just HOWLING and scaring all of us. Lacey is terrified of storms and kept pacing up and down the hall constantly stepping on one of the cats laying in the dark. I heard "YOW, GET OFF ME" several times. I never did go get my electric lantern, we just used flashlights and my little battery fluorescent.

I have had to give Harley an extra half Prednisone the last 2 evenings, his neck knots are growing again but they're still not too bad - larger than golf ball but less than softball. I'm hoping it's just inflammation and this round of ab's will stop it again. He's feeling OK, not great but certainly OK.

Off I go to help cut up limbs and trees...storm is now going above and below us!

Hi guys .. wow, what a nasty night you guys had to deal with! I hope the damage is not to bad .. and after last night and yesterdays beautiful numbers, this amps isn't looking to shabby either! I'm glad to hear harley is feeling ok and hoping his AB's help these knots again .. Hope you guys have a great day!

Jeesh! What a crazy night for you and your babies. I'm glad everyone is ok today. That is a very nice AMPS for Mr. KT. Did you find the blue floor today? I hope the abs do the trick with Mr. Harley. Hugs to you, Lyresa.

Crazy night last night! Ready for round 2??? It's sunny and hot hot hot here but the weather people say it will be here in a few hours with lots of tornadoes this time. Ugh.

What an uugly pink toad I've found layin' somewhere all day today. I figured after that loooow green run yesterday that we'd see these numbers. I think the storm stress added a bit to it too.

I'm going back up to a fat dose this evening to help with some of this extra sweetness...

I made plum jam today but it doesn't look like it's jelling - I tried the old fashioned way from fresh plums and sugar which SHOULD have created it's own natural pectin to thicken it instead of using Surejell. We'll know in a few hours. My neighbor picked them exactly and completely ripe off the tree - not a bug or worm! Just DELICIOUS!

Grams, Schniggles did well thru the storm, slept thru most of it but wanted inside when we were up. It didn't seem to scare her - she watched it but she didn't ever tense up. We had a few bad thunders making us ALL jump but she did wonderful!

Nuttin' to brag about today, just really ugly bounce.

For those that don't visit, I need to clarify my post above about Schniggles "wanting inside when we were up" - she doesn't stay outside, she and Pepper share the sunroom for a while. She was seeing us thru the french doors that separate the two areas.
