My daughter needed her laptop last night so I was kicked off the internet. I have GOT to get my computer fixed before I (and she) go crazy!!!

Champ had a very stable night last night. Barely got into the green once, but did have a nice little surf going. Can't complain. He's been such a little love muffin this morning. Right now he's curled up in his basket, which I put on my desk so I can just reach over and run my hand down his back every once in a while. He sure can be mean when he's in low numbers, but I guess it's no different when we get into a bad mood when we're not feeling well. And I can take it...I've got thick skin!! :lol:

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day. To all our military personnel and their families, and anyone who has served in the military, I salute you. Thank you for defending our country so we can be free!!!

glad he's been surfing along - it sounds like he's got the perfect set up on your desk. "i'm gonna sleep here where mom can pet me all day long!" sweet!

i have a netbook - an Asus, and while it's not perfect, it only cost $300 and it is pretty good. my main complaint is the tiny screen - i can't see much of punkins ss at a time, and the fdmb pages always are only the top ad stuff until i scroll down. it's not exactly difficult to scroll down, but it'd be nice to see more than the ads. the price is pretty nice, though, and now my husband has the laptop (he does endless genealogy) and i have the netbook.

Hi Patty, hope you enjoy your day off from work and get to give Champ all the attention he needs and deserves. Sometimes Gus thinks that would be the ideal way to spend the day, 24 hrs. devoted to only him! I'm sure Champ would like that too. His numbers look really good today. Hopefully, this will be a downward trend. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Wow, Champers really hasn't come down much today, looks like he's bouncing? But from what?

Hi Patty & Champ, how cute with Champ curled up in his basket. I usually have Maggie on my lap when I shoot, and today she just wanted to sit there and be cuddled. I hated to get up, but I had to get her treat and feed her. I hope you soon get your computer fixed. It looks like Champ is having a nice blue surf and coming down.

Champ hasn't had numbers like this in a long time!!! Or at least it feels like a long time. I'll probably be able to go to bed at a decent hour tonight at least.

I think you're going to need to wait and see how the numbers play out. This may be a bounce. If so, wait until it clears before you increase.

I didn't think Champ was switching directions. He did have better #s just a couple cycles ago, didn't he? I wonder what Sienne will say about an increase? Patty, you have done a remarkable job with Champ. I remember when we both were just starting, how unsure we were. Now, look at you and Champ and how far both of you have come. Won't it be great when we get these boys regulated! Have a good night and great AMPS tomorrow. :smile:

This is just another hick up for Champ but you already know that.. He'll be back to those pretty blues and greens in no time.. We've learned a lot over the past few months haven't we.. You handle his numbers like a pro now, at least that's how it looks on text. :-D Champ is a very lucky kitty to have you as his momma ;-)
I hope that you do get some sleep this evening, I'm sure you need it!

Patty: oh yeah, I'd wait this out for six cycles for the bounce to clear.....he was just at 51 a couple nights ago. Gracie has popped up over 400 in a bounce. I know this seems high, but he'll come back down.

Thanks Sienne!! I'll wait it out. Since seeing better numbers in Champ, I don't feel that overwhelming need to hurry things along as I once did. I'm hoping Champ's just gathering his strength for another run to the green floor soon!! :-D
