Good Morning Everyone,

Rusty has "bounced" from his all-green day yesterday, but not very high. It is a dark, gloomy day here, raining lightly with 2 inches of rain expected over the next 24-36 hours. Just what we need!! The cellar is about the same. When it finally dries out I will have so much free time I won't know what to do (just kidding!). The dam in the village is still holding. We heard from our friends who live near Camp Stu that the lake has risen so high that there is water above the 3-foot high retaining wall. (But the cabin is much further back from the lake and up a hill and is OK). The kitty bucket brigade will not be needed there (there's no basement in any event).

Rusty is tired today (he's not the only one). He slept all night on the bed and went back to sleep after his breakfast (1st sitting). We had a good shot. Later I'll try to interest him in a game of Big Bug. He definitely likes bugs and has been fascinated by the ants outside.

when will this rain stop? hope you guys stay dry and Camp Stu stays safe.

Sleepy Rusty has a very nice amps, especially if this is his bounce. Hope he sees the greens again today.

Rain again today here. Luckily it's light, and on and off all day. It's not going to stop until thursday......if we're lucky.

Nice Amps for Rusty!! I am praying for you too that the rain will stop!!!! OMG I cant imagine what you are going through...See here near the ocean the water comes up from under the ground too--water table, so you cant even stop it--Only happened once to us--Sending Dryness Vines to you!!

My cats always sleep all day when it rains--Pretty smart! Sending Hugs & Lubs--From US!!--Have a better day!

That's a bounce? Mannie and Tess can come over to give Rusty lessons if you want to see a bounce! :lol:

I wish you could send the rain our way. It looks like spring is over and we are looking at 6 months of no rain until October or November. :YMSIGH:

How is Edward's shoulder doing ? I hope all he needs is some R&R.

I am so with Ann :lol: I would give anything to call a 110 a bounce. :lol: Tess and Mannie will be more than willing to come and give Rusty lessons in the art of bouncing... seriously - nice amps for Rusty - that blue looks very green to me, and no doubt that is where he is headed. GO RUSTY!

Wow on Camp Stu! I am glad all is well there. I did pass that onto Mannie. This was his reaction: ----> :shock:

Enuf of the rains already! It is raining here too. We even had more snowfall on the mountian passes. Sheesshhhh!

I must say too that I did read your post in Loose Lips yesterday, re: 9/11. That did take me back, alot. I remember being so taken back by the courage and compassion of so many people. At that time I was very active in eBay, had a shipment headed to a fellow who lived in DT NYC. what that man went though... quite the thing. I don't have much time to read and post in louse Lips, but did read yesterday, was glad I did. Your remembrance was nice, good, and out of all that: Stu!

i heard your next door neighbors have started ark-building in their yard . . . ;-) you must be so tired of the water everywhere!

yay for the post-breakfast nap! it's a lovely start to the day!
