Man! It seems like the R didn’t budge her much yesterday  and.... oh Minnie..... bright pink is not your most flattering color. We have some very lovely garments in blue that would suit your coloring very well indeed!

She is letting me know loud and clear that her dose is 5u.

I am counting down to midcycle, if she is still pink then she gets another dose of R. I'm not messing around with the ketones (though I am doing some self-care by not re-testing her ketones this cycle! Following the vet's philosophy since I won't do anything different whatever the result). Giving her ears a rest until then, a whole 4h...she looks like she has a case of extreme-localized ear measles.

Wasn't convinced by first +4 reading (double dip to get enough blood) - she moved during 2nd poke so got a massive drop of blood, enough for a ketone test. 0.4 which made me feel less worried about the 319. So relieved. And at least expect a decent night's sleep. Sympathies to those who don't (coupled with envy for your blues and greens)
