It was a decent say for Mannie. He started out on "that other color" floor, but quickly decided he wanted to be blue. And so he was. I was a little concerned about the speed of the drop, but patterns from the past indicated that he'd level off, and surf the blues. I fed him again before DGS and I headed on out, came home to a great 146. I asked Mannie for a safe mid blue surf when we left, and that is what I got. :cool: :razz: :razz: :-D :-D Mannie - you so totally rock! Lubs ya big guy! and thanks for letting DGS and I have a few hours of fun. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Nicholas was back - and the Manster couldn't have been happier. :cool: :cool: :cool: Once the initial "hey - hi - where have you been" greetings were exchanged Mannie headed off to his bed. Nicholas headed off to the nanner pile, and once again brought Mannie all of his nanners, one by one. He lined them all along Mannie's back, in a row. :lol: :lol: :lol: What was too funny was that Mannie let him, didn't flinch or more one iota - so there he was pretending to sleep with a row of nanners down his back. PRICELESS! I tried to get a photo but all i got were everyone's back side... sheshhhh! :roll: :roll: :o :lol: Today, as always, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: despite even more missed ones, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday. WOO HOO!! More Nicholas. No clue yet what we will do, though I suspect that some outdoor stuff will be involved. :-D If the rains come as predicted then I was thinking we may go and take his mom out to lunch - sounds like a great idea to me! I will be thinking of you guys, and hope to get to condos later tonight. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody!! OH BOY! Did you hear??? A sleepover party at Mocha's!!!! We gots to have great fuds too - I am thinking - BBQ! What do you guys think? and wow - full moon party on Saturday, and Ruby's OTJ TODAY and OMG!! We are going to be so busy!!! So..... how about we all grab come floaties today, find a pool and veg alot and chillalx alot and plan all these parties - then off to Ruby's and Mocha's!! What'd'ya guys think? ~ Mannie

And completely OT: here are some photos from Nicholas's and my adventure yesterday: swimming and a trip to Coal Creek. It is the same hike I did this past Monday. The first half mile is very easy and DGS had no trouble with it. The creek is easily accessible. He had such fun just throwing rocks into the creek. What a blast. Mannie and Tarragon are at it again. I'm thinking it is a conspiracy. So sweet on the nanners. What is the deal with that? Mannie you are a great kitty and love your DGS so much you even let him touch AND move your nanners. Wow! Maybe he just trusts DGS not to vacuum them up. :lol:

Good Morning, guys!

I love that pic of Nicholas at the creek with all the beautifully colored rocks. That is a gem! What a hoot about Mannie being decorated with nanners. He is such a good kitty! He really loves his "best buddy".

Have a great day today and good weather for your excursion. Mannie, come down to a better number, OK? There's lots to do today!

Hey Mannie, It's a great idea to chillax and hang out until it's time to start cooking for Ruby's party. We can do some of the cooking at Mocha's. House parties can have cooking and eating at all hours of the day and night. And then we have to plan for the Full Flower Moon party on Sat. night into Sunday. Where shall we plan to party? Somewhere where there are flowers would be good. See ya later.

ETA: It is Cinco de Mayo on Saturday too!! ohmygod_smile We are going to have to party twice as hard now!!!

What a great day for Nannie - well so the amps wasn't all that stellar, but the start for tonight is great. Looks like he surfed the blues this afternoon. Once again I left him this morning with a pet and scritch, told him to have a good day, and that mid blues would be awesome. And the boy delivered! Now if he can just surf this tonight that would be the best. GO MANNIE!!!

DGS and I had a great day! I had hoped to meet his mom for lunch, but she was in an all day training seminar, so we couldn't go. Since it was POURING outside, we opted for an indoor activity: the Pacific Science Center. Nicholas had a great time - spent alot of it "running" from one ting to another. :lol: :lol: :lol: It was all just too exciting for him. It was so fun to watch his enthusiasm for all that he saw. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Melissa - those boys!! it's a conspiracy I swear it! Funny and sweet with the nanners isn't it - Nicholas has been doing this for a couple of weeks now. I think he just wants his best bud to have his fav tings, so if Mannie is in a spot with no nannerrs, Nicholas brings them to him. Taking care of his bud. It is amazing that Mannie lets him do thaty - him, and no one else. :lol: :lol: On the vacuuming part - now that could be the truth! :lol: :cool:

Hi Ella - me too on the photo - the spot was a very good one, for alot of reasons - I too loved the colors. Funny on Mannie huh! Oh yes... he really does love his best buddy.

Hi Marje - the blue was nice - hoping for nice and even, after that the greens will come. sure would like to see a few now and then. And yes, DGS is just that - quite the trooper. He loves being out. we had a great time today too.
