Thank you for the suggestion on sharpie, but he has some fears on sharp things.

What Wendy meant was to use a marker pen to mark the 4U line on the syringes so your brother knows what line to draw insulin to.

Aha, I see!!
Do you also recommend using pen needle? Right now with 1/2 or 1/4 unit, I can’t use it, but if I am away and vacation unit is strait unit like 3 or 4, then I was wondering if using pen needle might be easier for my brother.

Would not recommend dropping the dose to 3U. You risk him being in higher numbers and seeing glucose toxicity.

It would be easier to draw an accurate dose in whole units with a pen, so if you think your brother would be more comfortable, you could try that.

yes thats of course, I will stay with 4 unit, but what I meant was whole unit

Btw, the +3 test is not in the +3 cell of your SS but in the extra column between +2 and +3.

Haha, As long as he’s feeling better and do better on numbers, I can be awake a week for him!!!
Will do test on +4 and 6 maybe?
