She was HI all night, looked like a very small bit of vomiting late PM cycle.... :(
She's only been interested in her food when I re-wet it, then hold it in front of her, but this is all seeming normal for every time she bounces.

So what the heck is going on? It's like she has some super weird long low then bounce set of cycles now that just keeps happening.

She'll come down slowly today probably then rinse repeat. Also still relegated to using someone else's phone and they interfered with the functioning of the app that allows me to edit the SS. Lol. I'm back to no SS access for a few more days maybe. Sorry!

PMPS was 330
She is still refusing to eat much, mostly just licks the wetter parts of the pate and water mix.

Since I saw a bit of vomit early AM, I'm thinking she has been nauseous maybe. Should I try giving Cerenia?

Her weight is down to 2.32kg from her major high yesterday of 2.7kg

So I'm rather concerned about hydration and ketones (have not caught a pee yet to test tonight).

Cerenia is processed by the liver and can be counterindicated if either liver issues or if there is an obstruction from a swallowed object. Can you assist feed? Good luck getting that ketone test.

Assist feed like mix and put in a syringe?

I have fed her chunks of pate by hand before but she is slow to encourage this evening.

She got up to inspect the red dot--so she has little drive and interest, though she seems weaker than usual at the same time. I stopped the dot over the bowl and she stared at it, and she sort of sniffed it, but no.

That sounds like nausea to me. I did syringe assist a bit of water earlier. Not a ton. She's getting some fluids and calories both from the wet soupy food she's been licking up off and on. I have to put the bowl in front of her periodically......

She got up for me, then she was willing to slurp at her bowl when I placed it right in front of her.
Is nausea a symptom associated with high blood sugar?

Can you get Alice in to see her vet? This could be pancreatitis. The vet can run either a Spec or Snap fPL to test to see if this is an issue or if other labs are out of whack. I'm assuming ketones are OK? If you're testing for ketones, it's helpful if you can make a note in the comments section of your SS.

Her sugar is lower again, and her appetite is back. Does it still sound like pancreatitis?

Her PS is 166 this AM so I am delaying and making sure it's going up though probably I don't need to. I don't know.

I managed to encourage enough food through the night she had a small bowel movement around maybe +8 or from PM, and her appetite came back between +9 and +10.

No ketone test since 5/2 AM, it's in the SS notes. Trace to none.

Will start new thread a little later. Condo? Whatever.

Great news her starting to eat better! Interesting that she had a bowel movement and then started eating. Had it been a while since she had pooped? Constipation can cause nausea in cats and make their BGs go up.

I don't think it had been awhile. Hmm. I used to note the BM times but I haven't been as much since my primary means of note taking broke. That's worth some thought.
