5/29, Tux, AMPS 263, bouncey cat still bouncing?

That low blue today looks great! But Tux could still be bouncing, it can take up to 6 cycles to clear a bounce. And they can wobble up and down while clearing out the bounce. Or he could be bouncing from today's 117.

That's also another pretty big drop from AMPS to +2, and that can cause a bounce too

You might consider trying a higher carb food at Pre-shot, or feeding several small meals at Pre-shot, +1 and +2 and see if you can slow down those big drops a little.

Keeping track of what you feed and when in the Remarks will be really helpful...and some people put a * in the cells when they feed too.

In some cats, it can really make a difference

I have it listed in the remarks that he is eating ZP (Ziwi Peak) and BFF(Best Feline Friend) although he doesn't eat it but it is available to him. He is fed four times a day with Young Again as free choice.

I think I'll give this food some time and see what his numbers tell me. If I don't like what I see, then I will experiment with some higher percentage foods.

I meant the carb %....China eats either Nature's Variety Raw (the kind she's on is 1%) or Fancy Feast (and the one she likes best is 4%) unless she drops low. In my Remarks along the top of my spreadsheet, I have:
Remarks nv=Natures Variety Raw chicken (1%) FF=fancy feast 4%...if other food given, carb percentage is listed (and then I might say something like 1tspFF+1tsp12%)

What's the carb percentage of the Ziwi?

Anyway, might be worth a try to see if you can find any patterns !

Have a nice Friday Julie!!!

The Ziwi Peak is 2% or less. I'll go back to listing the foods w/% in the remarks. I hope I didn't come across as snarky, Chris. I do appreciate the input and it is worth a shot. Hope you have a great Friday as well!
