Wow on the green this morning! I was not expecting this because Simon's numbers have been mostly in the blues with a higher blue number at the AMPS. Simon just likes to keep me guessing. Yesterday, I noticed him eating slower at his lunchtime meal. Later on, he was eating fine so I'm not sure what was up with that at lunch. Maybe he just didn't like that type of food. He is still scratching his ears even though I am giving him the zymox. I'm going to ask my vet about another type of ear drop or medicine to help with his allergies. I'm still planning on taking Simon to the vet next week for a check-up and a urinalysis to rule out a UTI. He is doing well this morning, lazying around and watching me clean.

My Mom is coming over this evening for an early Memorial Day cookout. I'm looking forward to spending some time with her and my DH. Happy Sunday!

Nice greens this morning, Simon. Green seems to be the color of the day. Have a nice visit with your mother and a fun cookout, Georgia. And best of luck with the vet next week. I hope Simon's allergies clear up soon.

When Maverick was dealing with coughing (before his asthma was diagnosed) the vet recommended an antihistamine. Have you tried one yet for allergies? Would this help?

Look at these beautiful numbers today!! Simon is doing great!--Normally, a UTI would raise the bg numbers, but have it checked anyway just to be safe--You are doing a terrific job--Have a good Holiday--Hugs!!

Karrie, someone else recommended an antihistimine so I think I'll ask the vet about it. I have not tried one so far, only the ear drops which just don't seem to be helping.

Roni, his numbers have been higher lately and he did have a UTI over a month ago so I was thinking that perhaps it didn't get totally cleared up. I probably should have brought Simon in a couple of weeks after he stopped the antibiotics just to check. Bad bean!

Awesome numbers for Simon. Hope everything is OK w/him. Paws crossed for a well kitty AND beautiful green numbers.
