Hi Heather, I agree. Hope she comes back down gently today and in waking hours would be best.
The recipe was created by a veterinarian nutritionist that I work with and is tailored to Ivy’s specific conditions, so not sure you’d want that. (It’s not something I got from a website.)

I'm happy you managed to catch up with some sleep. This is soooo important.
Thought we don't like them being in higher numbers something you just need it to be able to take care of yourself precious self.
I hope Ivy will come down safely and in good rhythm.

Oh Staci, if there is something like a next life I think being reborn as your cat is an attractive option. So much care AND lamb dishes, I would like that. Really super interesting you are cooking for Ivy. I remember doing some research about cooking for cats but I found it really complicated with all the supplements. In the end I was so intimidated, that I never started.

Ivy has an interesting curve today! The drop at +8...wow! She is good at surprises! At least she is doing that during the day so I hope you have a calm night tonight and a wonderful sleep in your bed!

Hi Shelly, I slept until about 3:30 am when I got up to check on her. So at least part of the night was in my bed. Felt heavenly.
I do hope she knows how lucky she is to have a private chef. She really doesn’t know any other way (my spoiled cat).

Hi Heike, yes, Ivy is a lucky little lady. You would think she would be more appreciative. She only knows what she is served. lol.
But thank you for appreciating my work in her behalf. That’s so kind of you.

It’s not that hard to cook. I just follow the recipe. And my nutritionist creates the recipe so I don’t have to try to figure out what to do. It’s just very time consuming with all the measurements etc.

I do hope she stays stable tonight. I could use a decent sleep m, but we shall see.

I totally agree with @Heike & BInie - many people would love to be reborn as your kitty!
In fact, I think it's only fair that we will ALL be reborn as spoiled, bratty kitties in our next lives

Food prep day! Does Ivy like to supervise and sample as you make her recipe? Food prep day is a big deal here. I've got pics of Simon trying to be sneaky and helping himself to the contents of a container before it was closed. He also tried to drag a goat leg off the counter. Purrl just dances around our legs and talks 'til we give her samples.

Wow! A goat leg! Now that’s a novel protein if I’ve heard one. Nice!
Your crew is much more interested. Ivy just slept in her Dad’s office while I made her meals. She has no interest in helping. Just sleeping
