At least he seems to be leveling out, although it's pretty high. I'm bumping the dose to .8, using my U-100 syringes at 1.5U. I'll watch him tonight and test a couple of times to be sure he doesn't take a nosedive.

I'm just not being patient enough? :YMSIGH: This is Day 4 on PZ and we're really not seeing any movement. I don't want to bump too fast or too high and miss the sweet spot, but I really hate seeing him in these high numbers and seeing how he's not feeling good because of them.

I did a .6 this morning, and he only dropped a little and came back higher than AMPS at night. So I bumped it up a bit more. This .8 is closer to what the vet wanted to start with, too. Probably should have started at .8, but just didn't know how he was going to react...

I like that you have been careful, getting numbers before you increased. The .8 sounds good to me.

A good-sized drop, and I'm watching him. He just had a little snack and more water. I'll check him again in a couple of hours -- hopefully, he won't drop much more.

I like finally seeing him below 400, but don't want him to drop too fast. He's feeling better, because he's laying on my left hand as I try to type <smile!> I'd really like to see him around 200, but not much below that as he adjusts to the higher dose...

As frustrating as it has been going slow, now you will know that you havn't missed a good dose and can increase with confidence.

Also we now know that the PZ isn't sending him on those crazy swings.
