Hi everyone!

Its been a few days since our last condo. We had a super busy long weekend with friends over at the house. Orange loves having visitors though - he must go up and greet everyone that walks in the door by rubbing up against them

He's also back to his green PS numbers  I think he really likes this dose so I did end up switching him to the 3 times under 50 before a dose reduction method. Well, I have seen 2 numbers in the 40s but they have been high 40s and he hasn't needed any help from me bringing them up a bit and surfing. The next 40 I see I'll be back asking for dosing advice since he hasn't seemed to do that great under 0.1 units.

Have a great day!

Hi guys .. what a great condo for orange! I'm loving these numbers and the fact he does so well with visitors .. unlike my girls who run and hide until three days later! Have a great day guys!

So Orange is like the PR of the family! What a sweet little one! Rosy is also like that, she always comes out to greet visitors once they settled in.
It's lovely that Orange is doing great with such little juice; 0.1u! OMG! And a surfing queen!

very nice.

What I would do at this point would be to try to keep Orange on this dose for as long as possible. Ideally you want to see 14 cycles of pretty much all green before trying a reduction. Do whatever you need to do to keep him from dropping into the 40s and forcing you to reduce earlier than that... That might mean encouraging him to eat at different intervals to try to keep him from dropping and earning a reduction. Lucy was basically free-fed, but I learned that I could get her to eat a few bites if I carried the food dish to her and put it in front of her when I wanted her to eat, or sprinkled a little chicken dust on it. Maybe a little extra nibble at +2 would help keep him from dropping into the 40s.

We find that the more days of green surfing they have, usually the better the chance of an OTJ trial working.

Thanks Libby. I've actually been doing that already! If I'm going to see the 40s in a cycle its usually by +3 so every half an hour in the beginning of the cycle lately I've been picking him up and putting him in front of his food. He usually eats a bit and if not I add treats and he'll eat it. Also, I'm already feeding him 9% carb food. Lets hope this is all enough to keep him in the numbers we want to see!

Orange is looking great in green!
Yes, I also agree that the longer the kitty stay in green, the more stable. I am doing the same with Rosy, but sometimes it's difficult to manage with the appropriate HC to give. Too often I overdo and she shoot up!
