A late night for a few of the boys in the green lagoon, and a sunny AMPS today. A good start to the morning with a brief appy interruptus. Liz did tummy massage with our big guy and appy resumed at +2. A bit of a drop from AMPS to +2 so we may see a little action today, perhaps another one of Zener's slides? ;-)

@Michelle & Mannie - hope you finally some sleep last night and have plenty of ~O) to start your day.

Liz is off on a lovely holiday bike ride, our winds have finally calmed down. Still chilly, was 30 degrees F last night and kitties are back in their cold weather nappy spots this morning. Hope everyone has a lovely Monday and relaxing holiday for many of you in LL.

What a nice morning for Zener. Mannie on the other had decided he wanted a day off, yet again. What will I do with that boy....

WOw - 30? still way too cold. Nice thought that the winds have calmed. Liz - enjoy your bike ride. :-D

Sweet! Back in the blues after all the drama last night! Nice and easy Zenner, the beans want to rest up too!

30º??? And i though our 40s were cold the other night!

Re: 5/28 Zener AMPS 274;+1 319;+2 255;+4 195

I caught up with your late night excitement early this morning when you were probably just falling asleep. Glad the tummy massage helped Zener's appy. Have a nice day, Anne. Have a great bike ride, Liz.

Re: 5/28 Zener AMPS 274;+1 319;+2 255;+4 195;+6 173

What a night you had with Zener and it looks like he is doing the slow slide down to a little more action this evening. Glad his tummy is a little better. Who doesn't like a massage?!

Yep, it looks like Zener is easing into PMPS in typical Zener style! Glad ot hear his appy picked up today...good job, Zener!

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80

The mighty Z is on the slide again.

It appears that our guy is having a little bit of a pattern, with long slow slides in the AM cycle to a nadir either right before or after PMPS. It almost looks like he has one nadir in a 24 hour period. Anyone have any thoughts on why this is so? Is this unusual with Lantus? His AMPS numbers are still high but gradually coming down.

@Michelle & Mannie - Zener is acting like he may want another PJ party with his green PMPS. No day off for us, at least not yet. ;-)

@Ann & Tess - and from blue to green at PMPS. Our boy is the king of drama. No rest for the beans.

@Ann & Maggie - perhaps more night excitement, time will tell.

@Georgia - you are psychic!

@Amy - yep, another typical Zener slide, thank goodness he is eating!

@Roni - Zener has always like having his tummy rubbed, but now he likes a little pressure and squeeze with it to help his appy. Not sure if it would help Moonie, but one can always try! We hope Moonie is doing better now that the ABs are over. :YMHUG:

Liz had a lovely 25 mile or so bike ride this morning. More traffic than usual as campers and RVers were heading out after the long weekend. I had a nice afternoon walk in the neighborhood. Kitties had many naps in the sun. All very low key for our holiday. Now that the 3-day weekend is over, it will be safe for us to venture out, we won't get overwhelmed with visitors and tourists.

Stay tuned for tonight's installment of drama-rama.

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80

@Barb - it's entirely possible and then again, who knows? We are learning a valuable lesson of living in the moment.

I put the song "Slide" on my iPod in honor of Zener

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80

Some cats do have a late nadir. It's almost like their clock is off by 6 hrs -- their low is at shot time. What complicates it for Zener is that he's bouncing and then clearing the bounce within the 24 hour period. As a result, it looks like it's one nadir. If he stopped bouncing, you'd have a clearer picture.

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80

Nicely done Z-man! Yep, I think our kits have another PJ party planned for the Lagoon!  Tess is a late nadir too, but it is more common w/ Levemir. It does keep you on your toes!

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80

Looks like all kitties planned to have a green lagoon party tonight! Mr Z, you are the leader?

Re: 5/28 Zener PMPS 80;+1 116;+2 75;+2.5 95

Green and eating!

PMPS 80, 9th cycle @1.25u, 1PP, 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.25oz 10%, 1/32t miralax
+1 116, 0.5oz 10%
+2. 75, 1 treat, 0.55oz 10%, 8 drops kidney liq
+2.5 95, 0.35oz 10%

@Marje - Zener is honored you have "his" song on your iPod!

@Sienne - thank you for this, it makes sense now when we see this is a bounce and makes it look like one nadir. Zener always has been special, so no surprise his clock would be late. If he stopped bouncing... perhaps when pigs fly?

@Ann & Tess - yes, perhaps another PJ party in the Lagoon tonight. Good grief, I'm getting too old for these all night/late night parties. And I think I have toe tendonitis from being on my toes so much!

@Helen - I don't think Zener is the leader, it's Tess tonight.

Detective Poo was very diligent this evening and spotted Zener with her binoculars, acting suspiciously like he was digging for gold, not unheard of out here in the wild, wild west. CI Crapdash followed the lead from Dectective Poo and a full investigation followed. Yes indeed, there was poo gold in them thar hills. ohmygod_smile
