5/28 Simon PMPS 144 +4.5 104

After the green PMPS last night, I thought Simon's numbers may be turning around for the better. This morning, he is back to the blues again. Simon seems to be his usual self although I noticed for the first time, that he is eating slower than usual and chewing more. I tried to look at his gums and teeth, but Simon is not very cooperative and I couldn't really see anything. Do you think there may be a delayed problem after his dental? That was quite awhile ago so I wouldn't think there would be a problem. My vet is not in the office today and won't be back until next week so I am going to wait until he is in the office. Of course, I'll watch Simon closely over the next few days and if I think there is something that needs to be addressed immediately, I will take him to the ER. I'm hoping it can wait until his usual vet can see him. I also want to check to see if his UTI cleared up after the antibiotics.

I am taking it easy this long weekend with no plans, which is exactly what I need. I have just started on a new med that will hopefully help my daily headaches. So far, I am feeling a little better so fingers crossed that this may be just the right thing to get me feeling like a human being again. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Georgia: I'm not sure about the dental so I think you have a great plan....watch him and take him in next week unless something happens that you think he needs the ER.

I sure hope the new med helps your headaches!!! I know that must be really hard to function when your head is killing you. Enjoy your weekend.

I too hope that the eds help you with your headaches, I know what an ordeal it has been for you. Maybe finally a med that will help! paws crossed.

Hi Georgia, as long as he is eating and behaving okay, just observe him, as the others have said and then take him to your regular Vet on Tuesday. If you feel it can't wait, you know your cat and go with your gut feeling if you feel something is wrong . I sure hope this new med helps your headaches and you can relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Hugs.
