Morning everyone!!!
Shadow is doing well this morning. He ate pretty well this morning. A funny thing...I was having trouble picking up a bunch of skin on him this morning....tried a few places but just couldn't get a good tent going. Guess he realized that I was having a problem and he shifted his body a little....it was weird...don't know what he did exactly but I was able to then tent his skin.....it was as if he knew why and what to do. I thought he was lying ok but it just wasn't working....when he goes and does something like that, I start really believing that he is well aware of just about everything!
Well....what a time we had last night!!! I mean...they had! fll_moon parties are different from any other party...it's some sort of primitive mood they get into. They all ate the delicious, wonderful and gorgeous food that Stu made and presented in such a unique way. There were so many "Ooohs and Aaaahs" and they kinda all pigged out! Stu is quite a cook and showman! The baked Alaska was such a surprise and they were thrilled with the presentation!
Then, they settled down in the grass on blankets by the dock as Moonie & Shadow went into their traditional Moondance....the newbies were in awe and the ones who have seen it many times before were just as spellbound by it.
It sets the tone for the howling ritual dance by all the kitties....they all join in in a synchronized circle dance that they have known forever it seems.... their ancient instincts being reborn in this breathtaking dance that they all do. Very serious stuff folks. The moon was brilliant in the sky as their raised their paws and sang. Oh my. It's bringing tears to my eyes just remembering it....
After the dance, they all start dancing energetically and the festivities continued on a more chaotic note. They usually end up rolling around and laughing hysterically cause some of them dance so funny... :lol: They eat a little more, dance a lot more and laugh even more! Everyone was here....they were all arriving on moonbeams and then departing the same way in the wee hours. Raja & Shadow have been on the phone since about 5am when they were getting calls from all the kitties...they were told to check in that they arrived safely. All accounted for! :mrgreen:
They will all be exhausted today....however, a lot of them plan on coming back to party---uh..I mean, CLEAN up tonight.... :lol: They all helped last night and there really isn't anything to do tonight to clean up but this is part of the fll_moon party routine. The decorating parties before and the clean up parties afterward.... :lol:
They are a very special family of kitties....they are so loving towards each other and have such a great time together....
My hugs are being sent out to each and everyone this morning....so sweet! Now I miss them all....oh...they'll be back tonight! I almost forgot!! silly me! See you all later!!! :YMHUG:
