Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=71919 and probably last night we got down to some mid cycle blues. When I got up for rowing this morning I tested Neko at somewhere between +8.5 and +9, and she was yellow, so I was expecting a zoom up for PS. Well, she surprised me and stayed at yellow! Good girl. cat_pet_icon
This morning I upped the dose to 5.75 and given the yellow start, am hoping to see some action. No LB action this morning, but there was last night so she is probably good for a while. So far just one yard patrol and she is settled down in front of the autofeeder. Last night Neko seemed a little off. We were out at friends for dinner. The routine is: eat dinner, come home to do cats, set up autofeeder, go back for dessert
, come home for last test of the night. When I came home to feed, she seemed unsettled and crankier than usual. She did a quick tour out after dinner, but couldn't settle. She came in and used the LB (loosely speaking, the hard bits were not exactly in the LB) and didn't lie down in front of the autofeeder. Not sure what was up but she seems to have gotten over whatever it was.
OT rowing report: water was flat and skies cloudy, the rain held off until after we were off the water. Thank you weather gods! The first of the Canada geese babies are out. We passed a flotilla of adults and little fluffies on our way out. So cute, the adults seemed to be circling and protecting them. The only other critters out were the usual blue heron and a curious seal. Rowing has switched to Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday so one extra day a week. Today was 13km. I'm sure I'll feel it. BTB for a bit.
