5/28 Dimi - AMPS 64, +8 69, PMPS 67

Dimi has really caught on, this is so amazing to witness.

Isn't it a bit surreal Bobbi? I remember just looking at Hendrick's SS and trying to wrap my head around the fact that this was really happening

So surreal. I couldn't make sense of his spreadsheet for the longest time, and was talking to his vet about switching to a new insulin (considering levemir) b/c his numbers were all over the place; then suddenly, out of nowhere, green green green. Such a relief and crazy to think just a few months ago we weren't sure if he would make it out of the hospital. So grateful, but at the same time, really wish it happened just a little sooner. I'm scheduled to be away June 21-29, and by my calculations, if all goes well (though really don't want to jinx myself) that would be right around tiny drop or OTJ time. Panicked about leaving, know he won't eat well for a petsitter, no idea how I'll explain to her that she has to give a drop of insulin, she won't be testing, and worried about how all this will impact his chance of going into remission. I don't think I'm going to enjoy this vacation. : (

oof, I have a similar dilemma with a planned trip so I know how you feel. Lucky that in my case my wife can hold down the fort here IF we get to that point. Like you said don't want to jinx it but also trying to plan for the future. Damn sugar dance is a fickle pickle! lol

If a cat is all green, usually 0.1 units is the last dose. There could be special considerations for a pet sitter dose too. Let’s see what Dimi has in mind for the next few weeks,
