Chuck let me sleep until 6 this morning, so his shot was an hour late. Am I OK to shoot on time at 5 this evening, or should I make it 5:30 and then go back to the 5 AM/5PM tomorrow?

I'd say his numbers are more stable, so I'm tempted to up his dose tonight, maybe just to .7 (or .8 if I use the U-100 syringes)? .7 would be a guess with the U-40 syringe...

I'm going to get a test here in a bit. We came back from camping this morning, late, so Chuck has been stressed with being in the kennel and the 45 minute ride in the truck...

Also, do you start a new thread every day for your kittehs or do you just keep posting to the same one?

I'd give it tonight and if he is still only dropping to the yellows, increase (.8 would probably be the easiest to measure with the U100s) I think the trick here will be getting the ideal dose without going over and getting him back in the crash/high pattern he got into with Lantus.

Some people do a couple days and then start a new thread; some start a new one every day. We're not picky.

Do yourself a favor and use the U100 syringes and the conversion chart. It makes dosing much easier.

I think I'd stick with it 1 more cycle. If he doesn't go any lower than he has you should to to go to .8u as long as you will be around to test it.
