Day 4 trial going well.
AM was 4.3, or, 77 US
PM is more of a story.
His numbers are great. 3.7! (67 US) but what is exciting is what else I did.
I've been wanting to test his sister, who is non-diabetic (as far as we know). We were told they were brother and sister when we adopted them, but I've had some doubts. Regardless, I know that human diabetes runs in the family, so I've wanted to ensure she does not have any problems. After all, if the OTJ trial is successful, we might not need insulin any more, and thus, it's good to know before we make any decisions.
So I grabbed little Scoutie after testing Boo. She was like
confused_cat I think you have the wrong cat confused_cat
But then I tested her and she was like
cat(2)_steam ouch that hurts cat(2)_steam
But then I gave her so many treats and she was like :shock:
omg omnomnomnom
Boo's number for the PM was 3.7 as noted above. I was curious how well Scout was doing.
Her number was
*drumroll*
3.7 =^.^=
That means she is doing super and is not having any problems whatsoever.
It also means that of everyone in the house, it is me who has the highest blood sugar numbers >.<
But none of us are in a dangerous range. So I am happy
