So frustrating...

Woke up last night to her make a lot of noises downstairs, checked her level to make sure nothing was wrong. It was 108. About an hour later woke up to her collar clinking on the dog bowl. I have a feeling she ate some of the dog food, which bumped her up to 192. So, now we need to hide the dog food at night, lovely.

Not the first kitty I've heard of lowering herself to eat drooler food. She must really love dry! It will clear out soon, at least you know why. ;-)

Re: 5/27 Vesta +8~108 AMPS~192

They are persistent crack addicts, aren't they? It would be one thing if it was the drooler eating Vesta's food - at least you could put it someplace where the dog couldn't get at it. Cats are way too agile!

Does Vesta stay away from the dog's food at other times? She may have been hungry. Any thought about getting a timed feeder for overnight or when you're away?

Timed feeder is arriving in the mail some time this week... that SHOULD make it easier on her! She's never eaten dog food before.

Drooler food is crack indeed... hopefully the mailperson arrives soon with the snack machine for Vesta!

I saw your note about Gabby's SS!. She's a challenge! I replied in my condo.

Glad to hear you've got a feeder enroute! I've got a 2-compartment and a 5-compartment. They are great!!

Mr. WG here,

I've caught her doing it once before, but she never ate it because I caught her. This was way back when she was in the 300s/400s.

Yeah, waiting patiently for the autofeeder, it will be a huge help.

Fortunately, dog ate all the food while I was gone today, so no dog food for her to sneak or for me to hide tonight.
