Good Full Flower Moon Morning, Everyone!

Well, it's finally here! Stu is ready. He's got the pots and pans all set to go and his #1 sous chef, Raja, has gotten some of the ingredients together. The rest of the kitchen gang will be coming early tonight so that all that cooking can get done and the chef and all the sous chefs can have fun dancing and singing, playing cards, sitting around, and gazing at the Flower Moon. All is well here this morning. The heat wave is beginning to break. Stu didn't eat any of his food last night (I had put out some of the "old" EVO Cat & Kitten and apparently he no longer cares for it; this morning he gobbled down the 95% Turkey & Chicken; maybe it was just too hot to eat last night. Whatever). He has a really nice AMPS and I hope he will stay in good numbers and not go too low. We'll be out until about +7 (paddling on the Chubb River; a new paddle for us) and will leave his favorite foods in his automat. I'll get a +2.5 this morning to try to determine what food should go in the automat. Otherwise: Ps are in place, Stu has been out in the garden, eating grass, and his beans are getting their canoes on the car.

Let me know if you need anything...I can run to the store for any ingredients you might still need. Kitchen is all ready for you to do your magic! Can't wait to see you! I am just so excited. This is going to be the BEST fll_moon party EVER!
(Shadow says I say that every month...do I? :roll: ) My knives are sharpened, serving dishes are all labeled and arranged...
what have I forgotten? I hope I didn't forget anything...I have the candles for the birthday cake for Spooky & Socks...the decorations are all done and they look great....

Well, we decided not to go on the paddle! Stu, in his way, is requesting another dose reduction! Fed some MC and will test again in 1/2 hour. If it were not so early in the cycle, we might consider going out, but it isn't! We'll go back down to 1.5 units tonight (yes, Sienne, Helene, CD, Libby, Jill: the lesson has been learned! I'll go to HC if I need to after I see how he does on the next test).

With a 30 this early, I'd want to test in about 20 min. to make sure the food is kicking in. You might need HC to get Stu on his surfboard but see how the MC works.

I think the biggest lesson to be learned is:
DONT ANNOUNCE IN STU"S CONDO THAT YOU ARE GOING PADDLING! :lol:

Latte looks forward to seeing stu, and has been trying to work up an appetite for Stu's great cooking.

35 at almost +3. Fed a teaspoon of MC with a little Karo in it to make it into HC. Will test again in 20 minutes. Thanks, Sienne! And thank you, Carolyn, for the tip!!!!! (But Stu doesn't need to read his condo to know we're going paddling: he sees the gear!)

You know the drill - lather, rinse, repeat! You're steering the numbers like a pro. Remember that you want two tests with Stu in the 50s+ before you shift to 30 min. between tests. Ditty for an hour between tests. Please let Stu know that surfing is more his sport than scuba diving.

Ok Sienne. I messed up and took 1/2 hour between tests. But I'll give another one in 15 minutes to see if he's still in the 50s.

P.s. I fed a little more MC and at +3.8 he was at 49. May I consider this to be equivalent to 50?? Gave him a little more MC and will test again at +4.25 (in 20 minutes)

Good morning, Ella & Stu. Sorry you're missing your paddle - its a good thing you are so flexible. It looks like you're having our evening this morning. And I'm learning from your experience. I didn't know I had to have 2 50's to go to 30 min tests - I did it after only 1 50's. Looks like the mc/hc is doing the trick. I hope Stu surfs those greens today.

Blackie can't wait to see what Stu & Raja will be cooking tonight. He loves those parties!

Moonie has done that dippity thing a few times--But great care by the best Momma bean!!

Made a mistake and walked to the post office: tested: bg = 40 at +5.25. Fed some MC and will test again in 20 minutes. Stu is more or less at his nadir time, so hopefully he won't go lower this afternoon!
Yes, we could put him on a surfboard and pull him along behind our canoe. He'd really like that, I'm sure!

You had an exciting morning, didn't you? That'll teach your beans to make plans which don't include you. :lol: I am going to leave for the party in a minute because I am so excited that I'm driving my bean crazy (it's fun). Some of the kitties from other countries will already be there, and I don't want to miss anything. I can't wait to taste your food and drink niptinis and dance the night away under the moon. Stu is full of many mini meals of MC and LC. But he's out of the deep! He'll be on his way to the party soon. He and Shadow will have lots of talk about over their niptinis! I hope the cooking gets done!! (Raja and the other sous chefs might have their paws full!)

Thanks for watching Stu today! He gets his doscrease to 1.5 this evening.
