nom nom nom breakfast is the best meal ever! he's eating with gusto, greeted us loudly when we opened the stairway door this morning, and seems happy as usual.

i'm hoping that increasing his dose last night by .5 will result in something and his body doesn't just suck it up and make it disappear! seems like that's what's happening. this is now the 2nd dose on 8.5u.

Good morning Julie, I sure do hope this increase is "the one" for you both.. Keep on keepin on, you're a wonderful bean and Punkin is extremely lucky to have a momma that WUV'S him soooooooo very much :-D

Hi Julie, good luck with the dosecrease! Hopefully you'll see a breakthrough soon. I know it's discouraging to see the constant higher numbers, hang in there!

anya is just being a little pain in the neck to him this morning. she got up on my lap and i wanted to update here, so put her down. she went over to sweet little punkin sleeping on the floor and jumped on his head with that bunny grip - back feet in position to kick your head. good thing i trimmed her nails this morning - but haven't gotten his yet!

yesterday at one point i saw her bite his leg as he went by - another time she ambushed him from behind and jumped on his head. if he weren't twice as big as her and always the winner, i'd defend him, but he always wins in the end. in the meantime it's good exercise right?

instead of weight watchers he gets "wrestle your way to weight loss!" :lol:

hahahaha, he just won - chased her in a circle through the kitchen, both of them sliding on the bamboo floor . . . and now he's back rolling on the nanners. all is as it should be in punkin's world! :lol:

waiting to test him in 10 minutes because if he's still high, i'm off to see the Bridesmaid movie with a friend! supposed to be funny.

On my list of movies to see...Bridesmaids, Hangover 2 (finally saw the first one a couple days ago and laughed myself sick), and Pirates of the Caribbean. And then, of course, is Harry Potter next month (I believe). Have fun at the movies...if you get to go.

Sounds like Anya is a little pistol!!! Little the annoying little brother sister who loves to pester, even when they know a beatdown is coming!!!

I love your Punkin/Anya stories!!

Here's hoping Punkin learns to use his juice in a more constructive way...lower numbers dude!!! :-D

only now i look like the shower scene out of Psycho and have to go change my shirt! he bleeds like crazy now, in contrast to earlier when i couldn't even get a whole drop. anyway, i was holding his ear while i was grabbing the tissue, and he managed to spatter me anyway. right over my heart. i look like a crime scene. :lol:

silly kitter.

yes, anya is a pain, but she's so dang sweet you don't mind. sort of a dual personality girl!

good luck with the new dose! Hopefully this is just a little bump in the road and Punkin can get back to his usual numbers quickly.

It's good to have a kitty who really appreciates his fuds. :smile:

Punkin and Anya sound a lot like Gabby and Gizmo. However, it's Gizmo who's the pain!

It's my toes! However, his tongue isn't all that rough. Gizmo has always licked. Initially, it was fingers and arms. He's expanding his repertoire to include legs, feet, and toes.

Hi Julie, You have your hands full with those two!! They sound like they are having fun--rough fun. Anyway, I hope that the new dose will kick in soon and that Punkin will surf blue or green.

hmmm, what happened to the whole "solid yellow means action's coming" story? he just wants to sit there!

called the vet's - no test results yet, so i guess we're waiting til next week. holiday weekend and all.

at least he's feeling & acting happy!

Yeah on the solid yellow. Look at the former Miss Flat Cat 2011's SS and see how many days she was solid yellow except for a pink blip. At least Punkin knows what color he likes.

Anya and Punkin also sound alot like Gracie and Tobey. REally so much fun, aren't they?

Hope you got to the movie...I'd love to see that one.

Hey you are an amazing trooper. I really know how you feel about the numbers. I got a brief reprieve .....maybe Punkin will give you one, too. Paws still crossed on the tests. Good luck on the dosecrease!
